Baekhyun (Lullaby)

Ugh, I've been really busy these days and idk what to do in my life now since i have like about an hour of free time.

You arrange the bed and arranged the nightstand in the bedroom where you and baekhyun sleep mostly every night. Due to his schedule's, he hasn't been home for 3 straight months. You terribly miss him because you'll never know when he will come back.

You opened the drawer in your nightstand and found a small toy you always loved. Baekhyun gave it to you, even though you're just his bestfriend, you both shared lots of memories before.

You just never had the courage to say that you loved him that you're willing to give something important just to be with him. Understanding his career, you can't.

You put the toy inside the drawer and continued fixing the bed. You work at a cafe starting from 3:00 in the afternoon till 3:00 in the morning. You work part time to have extra money for your school expenses. Even though it's tiring, you still went on because you want to have a good life ahead of you.

You suddenly felt queasy and decided to run to the bathroom.

You coughed until an unpleasant sound was heard while you were coughing. You spit the phlegm out and witnessed blood on it.

You lift your head up and saw yourself pale as ever, and your dark circles stood around your eyes.

You ran towards the medicine cabinet to take out the medicines. Oh, is there something i didn't tell you?

Well, i have stage 2 cancer. You do panick at times when its like this but it was kind of ok becuase you knew it ever since the doctor told you about it. He said you only have a year and a half to live, but if i continue to drink pills, it will make me live longer. The reason behind saving my money is because if i die, i want to give all my hardwork to my mother even though if i cant finish my college.

You grab a cup of water and drank it together with the pills. After drinking, you felt really tired and sleepy and decided to take a nap.

Baekhyun's POV

Urhmm.. he grumbled as he began scouring his bag for the house keys, He was excited to see you again.

At last, he entered the house and went straight to the kitchen and dropped his bags on the floor.

He grabbed a glass of water sitting on the counter beside the pills lying beside. Due to his curiosity, he picked it up and read the label.

Cancer pills?! he said in disbelief. When did this happen?! he said angrily.

He stumbled upstairs and saw you sleeping in bed.

"_________" are you alright? baekhyun asked, carressing your forehead.You heard him speak.

"Your cold ______, Want me to make you hot soup?" baekhyun asked.

He stood up and you just touched his hand ever so gently. You were so tired that you want to stay like this forever.

"Baekhyun, I'm tired" you said huskily. Your pale lips were extremely dehydrated.

"Yes baby, i will do anything for you" baekhyun said, he was worried about you since he knew about the cancer pills downstairs. He was dumbfounded when he discovered it by himself and he was shocked because you kept it a secret.

"Sing me a lullaby" you commanded. You could barely even breath because you spoke.

Baekhyun began to sing softly, lying beside you. Caressing your forhead as you slowly close your eyes. Baekhyun's tears were falling on your delicate face as he began to softly hold your body.

Baekhyun could hear your weak lungs breathing in and out. As soon as you almost close your eyes, Baekhyun's tears began streaming.

"Dont cry baekhyun, I'm just going to sleep" you said weakly as you raise your hands and carress his face, Enjoying your last touch. You wanted to live even just a minute.

"Dont sleep, I promise to keep you awake, Please. I cant do anything without you."Baekhyun cried even harder and hugged you tightly. He loved you as much as he also cared for you.

You slowly rest your eyes, a tear escaping your eyes. "Kiss me baek" you plead, it was your last wish to have, to cherish this moment left.

Baekhyun slowly leaned down closing his eyes as he kissed you.

"I love you baek, Take care. Stay happy" was the last words he heard from you.

"I love you too" baekhyun replied.

You are so tired yet happy, fullfiled that you wish came true, He was your first and last, kiss, bestfriend and love

It was your last goodbye.

You close your eyes, seeing a light infront of you.

Closing your eyes.. And slowly drifting to dreamland....

"Bye baekhyun, I will always love and guide you each and everyday of your life"
