ALRIGHT! I got 71 views! I'm so proud I just can't *sob* thanks guys! Anyways, I know it's not the best and slightly confusing, but I'll do my best to straighten everything out. Song on the side is Come Home by Eyes Set to Kill. Pic on the side is Hana and Kiba Inuzuka. I decided to do something different, all Kiba's POV. Kk, here's the story😋
Kiba's POV
I got used to Chi's odd behavior and sneaking off. Kurenai-Sensai let her most of the time, knowing something none of us knew. Hinata, Shino, and I let it slide though. All three of us knew not to pasture, and I already knew one of her secrets.
I sighed, letting my head hit the table. Akamaru whined, continuing to chew on his meat. For once, him and I where the first ones up. But we both wanted to catch Chi's performance. I thought she was a good singer, and loved the songs she'd sing. Then, someone knocked on the door. I groaned, getting up to answer it. But before I could, in walked Kitty. A furious look was in her eyes as her tail flicked around her. She waved at me.
"Which one is your room?" She asked. I glanced at her, finally taking in what she was wearing. She stood in front of me, her long black hair pulled into a ponytail. She wore jeans shorts and a belly show shirt. I had to squint to see the scars that dusted her pale stomach. You wouldn't have been able to see it with the normal eyes and light, but since I had the dog vision things... I could see the scars. Some of them were clean, small lines, the usual you'd get in battle. But then there was the more ragged ones, the ones I could tell had not been touched by a healer. That's what most of the scars were, the cleaner ones the oldest. I stared, watching her go down the hall towards my bedroom.
"God, you stink Dog boy." She called to me, while pushing my door open and stepping over to my closet. She disappeared into it, while I just kept staring.
Where did she get the scars? I shook my head, clearing my thoughts somewhat. What do I care? She came out holding one of my small shirts. I raised my eyebrow, only to have her do the same to me. She let a hand hit her hair and she glared. "That's my shirt." I stated, standing in front of her in my boxers.
She rolled her eyes. "Nah. I thought this was my house. Here, put clothes on. Mostly a shirt." Her eyes traveled down my chest, to my bare legs then up again, stopping at my abs. "Yeah. Definitely a shirt." Then I got hit in the face with my usual outfits. I growled, pulling the material from my face and raising an eyebrow.
"What are you doing barging into my house with an attitude and throwing clothes at me while I wasn't ready?" I demanded while glaring once again.
She swiveled on her foot, heading over to a mirror and ,messing with her hair. Then, her star like eyes looked at me. I could see the silver flecks in the dark abyss of blue that her eyes were. "How stupid do you think I am?" She questioned, confusing both Akamaru and I.
"What?"
"I know you go to my shows. I know that you were there the first day and I know you seem to be interested. Now, can you sing?" She asked. I shrugged. Then some paper was hitting my stomach. I rubbed the spot as I watched her yank on the shirt. I held up the paper, staring at words.
"Sing any verse from that you want. I need to know if you can sing." She too, walking over to me and pulling my jacket from me. Then I heard a bang. I jumped, struggling to pull my pants on. Then Hana exploded into the room, her partners right next to her. I groaned, realizing what she saw. She saw a girl with my shirt in and me with my pants only half way up. Crap.
"KIBA!" She screamed, making all of us flinch except for her. Why did she have to yell? I turned to look at an irritated sigh, before pulling my pants up and grabbing Chi around the waist.
"Run!" I whispered into her ears, pulling Akamaru up and hopping out the window. I heard yelling, but was already running with Chi next to me, having pushed out of my grasp. I held Akamaru and tried to run even faster, my jacket half on.
I felt Chi grab my arm, and some odd heat warmed my skin. "Come on, i need to hear your singing voice." I nodded, following her. I never ended up singing. We ended up at her performance, about to start.
Her performances weren't as big as they seemed, she could pass as a small street performer. Not that big, but when she started singing, it was amazing. I stood in front of the ground as she started singing. Not many people were around as she began, but they slowly started coming over to watch the girl with the beautiful voice sing. That's how they saw her, the girl with beautiful voice. I couldn't stop watching as she became the girl she really was. Her voice was carried out by the wind, and I knew most were surprised. I watched as her body swayed and her hair danced around her in a way that didn't make sense to really anyone, yet we were mesmorized. I continued to listen, finding myself closing my eyes and swaying with her.
Why is she so sad? I thought, opening my eyes to see her looking at the grenade pin that she wore.
'The phones been patient to hear your call.
But you never touched the dial.
You never touched the dial,
And now I know.
There's someone I wish walked through these halls
But you never took the chance
To come home
So come home.' That part of the song caught my attention, as she closed her eyes once again. She was singing about someone, but who? It was her secret, though. I didn't need to know.
