Hailee's POV

October 15th, Monday, 2013

FLASHBACK

Panting, out of breath, I found myself gasping for air. It was important I not pass out, for I was running for my life. I had accidentally run into some girl that I didn't know in the hallway causing her books to fly out of her hands, mine as well.

Very embarrassed of my actions I quickly scrambled to pick up my books. I was terrified of this girl because she was popular kids and I was one of the "Nerdy" kids. Let's just say "Nerdy" and Popular people don't really mix.

Since this girl was popular she thought that she could boss me around. I just let her because I panicked and didn't know what to do. She was so furious with me that she started to yell at me, "What the hell! Where do you think your going?" She said. That's when I started running.

I was all everyone was talking about for the rest of my freshman year all the way through my junior year. It honestly sucks knowing that people are laughing and essentially stabbing your back repeatedly because you accidentally knocked into the most popular girl in the whole school.

People also made fun of me because I had these old glasses, I didn't particularly like them but I was pretty much blind without them. My glasses had black frames and they were too big for my face. My glasses were the stereotypical "Nerd" glasses.

(A/N if you have glasses like this please don't be offended. I honestly love glasses like this. This was just for the purpose of the book)

END OF FLASHBACK

July 7th, Monday, 2014

After three awful school years at Marymount High School my parents thought that I needed a change. We moved from Los Angeles, California to Omaha, Nebraska. I was so excited that we were moving, because I could start my life over and become a "New me.".

July 9th, Wednesday, 2014

Today my family and I were going to start packing. After I was woken up by my older brother Sam, sometimes I call him Sammy, I went downstairs. As I was walking down the stairs the warm, sweet scent of pancakes overcame my senses. My mom hasn't made pancakes for awhile so I was pretty happy. I love food, I mean who doesn't? Especially pancakes.

After eating a few pancakes I headed to my bathroom to take a quick shower before I have to start packing. Once I got out of the shower I decided to just leave my hair in its natural waves. I wanted to be comfortable while packing so I just put on some spandex and I took one of Sammy's sweatshirts because it soft and its big on me.

5:00 PM, Same day

I had just finished packing and I was extremely tired so I went into my bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth so I could go to bed. After turning out the light in the bathroom I said goodnight to Sammy and my parents. I closed my bedroom door, turned off the light and crawled under the covers of my soft and comforting bed and not too long after that I found myself falling asleep.
