Makotos Perspective
Stepping out of the car i waved bye to my sister with a forced smile plastered across my face.
It was my first day at hopes peak academy, the school where if you graduate you where guaranteed success.Ultimate's from all across the world came here talents ranging from ultimate nurse or ultimate cook.
My names Makoto Naegi, I'm a completely ordinary, boring person with no talents. i got into this school by pure 'luck'.
Walking closer to the school i started to feel dizzy, I ignored and thought it was because i was nervous, however as soon as i stepped on the school grounds black started to cloud my vision, not long after my knees started to buckle .
~Time skip~
My eyes fluttered open darting across the room quickly. It was a classroom? but it looked abandoned like something happened. I didn't dwell on it for too long.
ALL STUDENTS REPORT TO THE GYM AT 8AM!A high pitched voice boomed out of the speakers.
Getting up i made my way through the hallways and found the gym. It was filled with about 14 other people that all looked around my age.'the other students' Neagi thought. After everyone had finished starring at me for quite some time a girl with blue hair bounce up to me happily.
"Neagi!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Maizono?" i questioned carefully
"Yep!"She smiled. Sayaka Mazono the Ultimate pop sensation, a girl from middle school, she was extremely popular where as i was well the exact opposite.why would someons like her remember a nobdy like me.
"Nice to see someone i know here" Maizono said. "mhm" i nodded in response. " let me introduce you to everyone!" she exclaimed as she started to point at people and name them."Aoi Asahina, Byakuya Togami, Celestia Ludenburg, chihiro fujisaki, hifumi yamada, junko enoshima, kiyotaka ishimaru, kyoko kirigiri, Leon kuwata, Mondo oowada, sayaka oogami, Toko fukawa and yasuhiro hagakure." she finished "thats everyone!" i thanked her for her help and looked around.The gym was large and a stage was set up at the back.
A few minutes passed and suddenly a bear popped out of the stage and stood on the table covered with a red table clothe with the school logo on it.
"A t-teddy bear?" fujisaki asked quietly. "I am not a teddy bear!" the bear said angrily" "i'm this school principle Monokuma".
A scream could be heard across the room it came from hagakure " the teddy bear talks!" he screamed. "NOT A TEDDY BEAR MONOKUMA!" shouted said principle.
Once everyone calmed down the principle spoke again "Welcome to hopes peak academy where you will spend the rest of your living lives." " What!" most of the class screamed. " No you cant do that its inhumane" i heard someone say. Everyone started speaking again. " QUIET!" the teddy bear screamed. the room fell silent.
"during your stay you will be competing in a killing game."
"killing game?"Kirigiri questioned
"Yes its simple if you want to ''Graduate you must kill one of your classmates." it spoke excitedly "when a body is discovered a class trial will begin students will have a hour to find clues leading to the culprit if the culprit is found they will be punished if you vote wrong for the culprit everyone else is punished and the culprit gets to leave the school"
Everyone just stared at each other clearly frightened.
