Arnav was getting ready for Payash's sangeet, when he heard a knock. He quickly finished buttoning his shirt, and walked to open the door of his room.
"You.." Arnav frowned staring at the lady in front of him, he gritted his teeth, "What are you doing here Lavanya?"
"I wanted to talk to you Arnav!" Lavanya replied equally in anger. She walked inside his room without permission, and Arnav tightened his jaw.
"What the.. Just get the hell out of here Lavanya!" Arnav said staring furiously at her, "I don't want to talk to you neither see your face!"
"Oh really.. Then why are you taking my life decisions?" Lavanya crossed her arms, raising her brows.
"Because you dared to interfere in my personal life and hurt my Khushi.. I wouldn't spare you and you knew that very well.. those who hurt my loved ones, never escape from my wrath.." Arnav said pointing his index finger to her.
"I only did all this because I loved you Arnav.. and it was all your fault, you never reciprocated my love for you and.. then You started liking Khushi.. Like seriously? I've spent years in trying to become the perfect woman for you, the one you would choose to spend the whole life with.. and suddenly you choose that middle class girl who isn't even your type over me? This left me angry, frustrated, hurt and depressed Arnav.. I wanted to have you at any cost.. the fact that you choose Khushi over me, made me do whatever I could, be it wrong or right to get you back to me... Sirf teri wajah se maine ye sab kuch kiya hai (It's only because of you, I did all this)" Lavanya said as tears rolled down her cheeks, "Teri wajah se.. I've become a villain now in everyone's eyes and even for my own parents.. when all I wanted was to be loved by you!"
"What the... Now you're putting the blame on me? I was very clear with you that what we have in between us is just friendship Lavanya.. I never asked you to waste your time in being a perfect woman for me.. You did it willingly and the fact that you love me doesn't mean I should love you back.. You should have understood that and moved on.. If I had any feelings for you, then I would have told you directly.." Arnav said.
"This is what you're.. A cruel and ruthless man.. You could have explained this in a better way to me.. but no.. you destroyed my life.. You fired me from AR and now you convinced my parents to send me to New York? Why are you forcing your decisions on me? Who are you to decide what I should or not do? I'm already broken and now you want to send me away from this place, from my parents, from AR, from.. You!" Lavanya said angrily but softened at the last words.
"What I'm doing is your punishment but at the same time it's going to be better for you.. You need to fresh your sick mind and see properly that's it's not me, but You are destroying your own life Lavanya.." Arnav said.
"You think being away from my parents and with a ruined career in New York is going to be better for me?" Lavanya asked sarcastically.
"I do think it is going to be better for you!" Arnav replied.
Lavanya chuckled sarcastically, "You are just happy that you're finally punishing me and keeping me out of yours and Khushi's life!"
"That I won't deny!" he said with a shrug.
"You're a Devil.. At the end, you proved that no matter what happens, you were, is and will always be a Malik!" Lavanya said.
Arnav tightened his fist and glared at her on hearing the last name, "Lavanya just leave from here before you see my worst side!"
"It hurts, right?" she asked, making him shut his eyes tightly to control his anger, "The truth always hurts Arnav Malik! My story is similar to your mother's story.. She loved her husband a lot and fulfilled all her duties as a wife honestly towards him and in my case, I have always loved you a lot and have been honest about our friendship.. Always kept you as my priority.. but he betrayed her and started having an affair with another woman and in my case, it's Khushi.. Your mother loved him so much that she couldn't bear the fact that he betrayed her and committed suicide.. And if I end my life, then mark my words.. You will be worse than your father.. You always fear na.. that you can't be like your father.. but the truth is you're worst!"
"Stop this nonsense Lavanya.. And don't take my mother's name here!" Arnav shouted.
"You can shut me up but truth will always same only!" Lavanya said and walked to leave.
Arnav held her shoulder stopping her, and said in ordering tone, "And you will not end your life!"
"You can even force me to go to New York but you have no control over my life.." Lavanya replied in challenging mode.
"Don't do it Lavanya.." Arnav said. Only he knows what he went through when his parents committed suicide. The word "suicide" still haunts him, even after so many years.
"Then marry me! Don't let me be another Ratna and don't let yourself be like your father.. Marry me Arnav!" Lavanya said, with moist eyes yet determined tone.
"Khushi.. let's go.. we're getting late.. function is about to start.." Shashi shouted calling his daughter.
"Oyee Titaliya!" Buaji called her.
"Coming.. Bauji!" they heard her reply and soon she came out wearing her sandals on the way and adjusting her saree.

Payal and Jenny looked at her, then at each other raising their brows.
Garima smiled staring at her and whispered to herself, "My daughter is looking so beautiful!"
"Let's go.." Khushi reached at the door with a smile on her face.
"How much time you take to get ready Sanki?" Buaji hit her forehead, "But looking very beautiful.. (staring at Shashi and Garima) Let's go.. let's go we're getting late now.."
While leaving, Payal and Jenny pulled an excited Khushi back, and started attacking her with questions.
"Can we know the reason of you wearing a saree today?" Jenny asked.
"Can't I?" Khushi shrugged.
"Oh please.. You hate to wear saree Khushi.. You can't even walk properly with it.." Jenny said.
"And that too Red!" Payal smirked, "Tell us.. What are you hiding from us?"
Khushi giggled shyly.
"Khushiiiiiii.." Jenny called her desperated to know the reason.
"Later.. I will share everything with you both!" Khushi said.
Payal and Jenny glared at her. Khushi smiled sheepishly to them.
"I just hope everything goes well today.. I'm going to confess my feelings to Arnav ji.. I hope he doesn't react negatively to it.. I know he still doesn't want to say I love you to me and I will never force him to say it.. I just want to share my feelings for him and let him know how much I love him.. and also say to him that I will wait patiently for the time when he's ready to confess his feeling for me.." Khushi thought with a nervous smile on her face.
