'She blinks at the overwhelming surprise of the kiss. It was the best kiss she has ever had. Well, the only kiss she's ever had. She was always a--"

"Oh my goodness, you're making me puke!" Christina laughed at Scarlett, who was reading a story on the internet.

"Ha-ha, Chris" Scarlett replied sarcastically, and placed her phone inside her bag.

"Remind me never to go out on weekend with you two" I groaned.

As much as I knew how I needed to go out in the sun more, I just wished they brought along some guys, that way the talk wouldn't be so girly 24/7. I can stand half an hour of the boy subject but if it was going to be for more than that. NO. Not a chance of me being all giddy talking about boys.

"Where was that fast-food place you were talking about?" Christina asked. Finally! A break from the Lucas and Dean's species subject!

"I think it was over...Here!" Scarlett pointed at a place only a few steps away.

"Goodie! They have ice cream! It's so hot!" Christina exclaimed excitedly.

~~~
Scarlett ordered a salad and fries. Christina ordered a cheeseburger, and I chose the same. We decided to have ice cream cones/milkshakes for dessert.
"By the way, Lettie, you've been kind of pushing Petesy away haven't you?" Christina brought the boy subject up again, and well...the sub-subject was the big mistake.
Scarlett showed a hint of sadness in her fake smile and swallowed. "Well, we did break up, Chris"
"I thought you'd still be friends" I decided to join in in the conversation.
"It won't be the same of course--"
"But you could at least talk to him one-on-one. We've all noticed how Peter has gotten lonelier and how-I'm sorry for saying this--lovey-dovey you and Lucas are"
Scarlett flinched. "Lovey-dovey?"
"He sent you a rose yesterday. We all know it's from him" I stated quetly.
"I thought I have your blessing in dating him?"
Yep, they were already dating.
We all kept silent for a few minutes. But Christina broke the silence of course.
"I just miss seeing Peter, Dean, you and I have big smiles on our faces....Rina-chan is here too..."
I flinched at the -chan. Why couldn't she stop that? "I know..." Scarlett sighed.
We finished up our food and decided on drinking milkshakes instead (Although Christina still ordered a soft-served ice cream cone). Christina seemed to not grow any fat despite eating so much. It must be because she's on the runnng team (Or was it relay? All I knew was it involved running as fast as you can to beat everyone else).
By now, we continued being happy. The boy subject finally dropped and even I was enjoying it. We took ten pictures in total, and were costantly laughn at littlest things. This was what I loved about dropping the boy subject! I can be carefree and have fun, only caring about my grades. (Yep, I'm practically a nerd I guess)
"Dean!" Christina quickly waved at the--oh my golly--three boys in front of us. Namely, Dean (who was reluctant to hug Christina depte not yet dating), Peter, and Mo-Keegan. Of course, at the sight of Keegan I frowned but threw that frown away as quickly as possible.
"Hey" I greeted to them all.
Scarlett waved at them sheepishly, and smiled sheepishly as well. "Peter" She nodded at him. "Keegan, too?" She asked.
