Part one the Land and Sea

A/N: hi everyone, its ya boi, Author-Chan, you haven't met me because this is my first story. Also, just so you know I am new to writing and terrible at all forms of grammar and punctuation.          Kiri's POV

"Come on", said Denki as I stared at the shoreline. All right I'm coming I said, swimming towards the hidden cove that we usually hang out. "Come on man" says Denki, "We still have at least two more weeks before more humans start coming, lets go to the actual  beach." Sounds fine to me, i say. The human tourist season doesn't start for a couple weeks so that me and my fellow sirens get to wander around in plain sight for a bit. The locals wouldn't tell anyone, and even if they did they would be thought crazy. 

                Sometimes I feel kind of bad for them, the rules state that, if we were to go up to them and talk or interact in any way, they would have to come back with us. Of course, people do break the rules, for friendship, for love, for food, I don't like to think about that last one. Like what kind of siren still eats humans, sure back in the times of ancient Oceania, when random people came questing through your territory for no reason, but still. 

         I sigh, "Earth to Kiri" says Denki, "we're here". So Kami, what do you want to do I said. "We could throw rocks at the beach" he says and shrugs. Ok, I happily say back, I'll flop onto the beach and draw a target on the sand, you grab us both some rocks. "Sure" says Denki as I make my way to the beach. After a bit of awkward maneuvering, I managed to draw a fairly decent target in the sand before quickly flopping back to the water. "Alright" says Denki "You get the white rocks and I get the black rocks, whoever gets the most closest to the center wins". Ok, I say but, how about whoever loses has to do one dare for the other. "Deal", he agreed.

             We played all day but although it  was close, I still inevitability lost. Ok Kami, I say, what's my dare? "I'll tell you tomorrow" he says sheepishly. Oh, so you thought you were gonna lose so much that you didn't even come up with a dare I say in a mockingly condescending tone. "Yeah" he says. Well I have to go back home anyway, so see you tomorrow at the cove I yell while swimming away. "Wait Kiri, I can't be there at the normal time." he yells back "My mom's friends are coming over and she says that they need to see me" It's fine, I'll wait I yell back, before plunging under the water and swimming back to my house.

Hey everyone of the two people that are reading this, can I please have some feedback, cause, I need to know what to I need to drastically improve, and what I am less terrible at than normal.
