Dear diary,
My dad promised me a movie night today. Just the two of us. 8 p.m. he said. Well guess what, he is already three hours late. I'm getting sick of it. Attention from my dad, is that too much to ask for? I know he is busy so I need to accept it.. I need to take my mind of this.
I'm leaving for New York in two days. My dad's big company he is going to open there is the reason we have to move. My whole life I've lived in Vietnam. I'm glad I thought myself English, I can't imagine the embarrassment of not understanding a single word when someone talks to me. I'm very nervous.. Even though it is going to be a big change, I hope I can get a new start there. A new school, new friends and a new adventure.
I did some research on 'Perkson High'. The reviews are perfect. It's a really big school. I have never been to a real school. My mom always gives me lessons at home. I really don't know what to expect.
For now I'm just going to sleep, my dad isn't coming anyways. Tomorrow morning I will be packing my bags. I definitely need 2 whole days to decide want I want to bring with me. Goodnight.
