In Which My Pupils Graduate

I don't normally feel happy, or sad, or proud for anyone other than myself, but the following "chapter" is one of the few times that I've ever felt proud of anyone.  My friends completed their assignments without incident.  They withstood the pressure I put on them and that is why I can now consider them my equals as opposed to my students.

November 25, 2009

The day of the kills, I woke up Joshua and Jack with buckets of ice water and surprise attacks.  I needed to test their ability to react in unknown circumstances before I sent them into the field.  They both performed exemplary.  Jack was awake the second I opened his door, but I didn't notice until too late.  The second I was within range, he lunged from the bed and right into my gut, knocking the breath out of me.  I congratulated him and told him to get ready.  Josh didn't wakeup until I sent the water cascading over his head, soaking him to the core.  God, he looked hot.  But the cold didn't stop him, and within seconds he had me pinned to the ground underneath him.  I surprised him with a kiss and he let go almost immediately.  Our relationship was progressing, but he was still really shy about the kisses I placed on his body throughout our days.

After everyone was dry, I passed out the assignments.  "If each of you complete the assignment before the day is over, you win.  But if I get to either of your people before you, I win," I told them as they opened their files, "If you win, you are my equal.  We plan the kills together and you "graduate" from my teaching.  But if you lose, I get to continue teaching until I believe you are ready for a second chance.  Don't let me down."  With these words, I turn and run from the house.  I know exactly where I'm going, so I decide to take a detour to grab a coffee.  In each of their files was an address, a name, and a job.  They were to hunt the people down and kill them without getting caught.  If they did get caught, I would find where ever they were staying and end their lives for disappointing me.

The closest address belonged to a certain Mrs. Phillips.  Her husband was out for the day.  I chose her because she had been rude to Joshua and myself for being too intimate in the mall.  She was to be Joshua's first kill.  The second address belonged to Annie Chapman.  Her parents had killed her the second they gave her that name.  Annie Chapman was one of the "canonical" victims of Jack the Ripper.  Our Annie even looked eerily similar to the the historical Ripper victim.  She had dark hair, blue eyes, and was around five feet tall.  I chose her for Jack because he had already expressed interest in copying the work of the historical killer.  Because of this interest, I also gave him a few lessons in hand to hand combat.  He would "rough up" his victims before the deed was done.

I knew that it would take longer for Jack to get to his address, so I went to Joshua's.  I wasn't going to take it easy on either of them.  But by the time I got to Mrs. Phillips house, Josh was sitting in the front yard, smiling his trademark grin.  I walked up to him as he handed me the file and I lowered my face to his and kissed him full-on in the mouth.  We sat there for a few minutes, caressing each other before I realized that I needed to check on Jack.  I told Joshua to get back to the house and ran to the next address.  I had wasted too much time on Josh and Jack was long gone before I got to Annie's house.  I decided to check up on his work.  When I went in I immediately found her.  He had dragged her to the living room and beat her unconscious.  It looked as if he had torn off her clothes and raped her.  That went well beyond what I had called for, but I couldn't berate him.  He had finished the job.  There were bruises all over her and the blood was still seeping from her wounds.  I left the house, feeling proud of the two people who had entered my life so suddenly.

When I arrived back at the house, I walked into the kitchen and saw that Joshua had cooked dinner for all of us.  Jack was sitting at the table, reading a book about The Ripper that I had let him borrow.  Joshua was getting all the food onto the table.  I ran back to my room before they noticed me and grabbed their presents.  I walked back into the kitchen and cleared my throat.  Both of them looked at me and I let out one of my rare smiles.  I then sat the presents down on the table for them.  Inside each of them was a diploma I had printed out for them and some new weapons.  I watched their faces light up as they pulled out brand new guns and knives.

        "Congratulations guys."
