Chapter 31

Kakashi's POV

I was fighting these sound ninjas until I heard a voice called for me.

"KAKASHI!" I spun around and saw Pakkun. Did something happen to Sakura?!? I widened my eyes.

"What happened to Sakura?!?" I freaked out.

"Sakura..she is facing Gaara. Alone." My heart skipped a beat. Gaara was dangerous. She can die.

A ninja was going to kill me until Gai kicked him away.

"Go, Kakashi. I'll take are of here." He said.

I nodded and said,"Thank you Gai. Pakkun! Show the way!" I yelled and followed him quickly.

When I arrived at the scene, I don't know what to feel. Proud that my daughter stopped the monster? Glad that he is under control? Worried shitless that she looks horrible?!?

"SAKURA!" I yelled. His head turned to me. He is.. Crying??

I could care less. I snatched Sakura away from him and vanished into the hospital. Although it drains my chakra, I had too. I panicked as I rushed her into the emergency room. The doctors and nurses rushed as well.

"HURRY! YOU MUST SAVE HER!" I shouted as I grabbed the doctor's hand.

"Yes. Yes. We will try our best. Please calm down, sir." The doctor said.

I loosened my grip on him and stood outside waiting for her. I paced around filling my mind all about Sakura. I can't lose her. I can't lose her. I can't lose her. Pakkun looked at me worriedly and looked at the door waiting patiently for Sakura.

Please..be okay.

Survive.

I prayed all day until the door opened.

"How is she?!" I asked. Pakkun ran to my side.

"Many of her bones are broken and bruised. Both of her legs are crushed. It will need a very long time for her to heal unless if you can find a splendid medical ninja to help her." He said.

"Thank you." I said and waited for them to transport her into another room.

After that, I entered and side beside her bed. I held her hand and looked at her. I got up and kissed her forehead.

"Sakura.." I muttered.

Pakkun hopped on her bed and sat beside her head looking at her with sad eyes.

Her face is so pale. She looks so fragile. Her body is all covered with bruises and bandages. My little cherry blossom..

After a few moments, the door slammed open to reveal Naruto and Sasuke. Both of them are covered in bandages as well. Shikamaru and Shino stood behind them.

"HOW IS SAKURA-CHAN?!?" Naruto shrieked. I glared at him and he shut up.

"Don't be so loud, dobe." Sasuke glared at Naruto.

"What a drag.. How is she?" Shikamaru asked.

"Many of her bones are bruised and broken. Both of her legs are crushed. They said we need a splendid medical ninja to help her heal faster." I said.

Suddenly, her hand squeezed my hand. I spun around and looked at her.

"Don't worry about me, daddy. I'm fine." She smiled.

"You are awake. I'm glad." I sighed and relief.

"Your dad was worried sick about you. You should see his face. He completely lost his cool." Pakkun chuckled and I glared at him.

"Sakura! You are awake!" Naruto said.

"Hey Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Shino. I'm fine, don't worry. How are you?" She said.

"You should worry about you first. You look worst than all of us combined." Sasuke said. She just smiled.

We were interrupted when an ANBU appeared.

"The Hokage..." We froze.
