Layla's POV

Everything was going right. Niall and I just had our dinner at a fancy restaurant without being spotted. Phew. I DID NOT need hate right now.

During dinner, we chatted and laughed. A lot. Niall told me about himself. As if I don't know already!

Heading to the cinema, my heart beat faster and faster. I read lots of stories before and it all starts in a movie theatre. Kissing or holding hands. Especially if the movie is a scary one.

"What movie are we watching, Nialler?" I asked as we took the escalator up to the last storey. Niall frowned and looked at me with a small smile. "Anything, babe."

So I think I fainted but I didn't care. I just blushed and shrugged. In the end, we decided on a comedy. Great. I was hoping for a scary one when I can clutch onto him. But how can I protest?

Nialler pointed at something and whispered into my ear, a playful smile on his face. I snorted out loud - yes, snorted! "Oops!" I whispered, blushing. Niall laughed.

Taking our seats in our theatre, popcorns in our hand, we joked around. Niall was seating to my right. "Well, I think I'm gonna snort A LOT!" I joked, giggling. Niall nodded and grinned.

The movie was really exciting and funny. Niall and I laughed through the whole thing. Half-way through the movie, I had already started to think how the night was probably the best night of my life!

Suddenly, I felt someone's hand brushed against mine. I quickly removed my hand from the armrest and tucked a strand of my hair away. Who was it? Niall?

I got comfortable again and watched the movie but after about five minutes, I could feel someone touching my hand again. I looked at Niall and he smiled at me. I blushed and inched my hand closer to his. Finally, they touch.

I could feel Niall's hand curl around mine. Ahh. It was so blissful. I didn't want the moment to end.

"The movie was REALLY funny!" Niall commented as we exited the theatre. We were holding hands. But no snogging happened during the movie.

I nodded and looked at our hands. Blushing, I looked back up at Niall's face. He was staring at me. Oh my god. He looked so hot.

"Uh... I guess... That's the beginning? I don't have to say anything more?" Niall said, turning away as he blushed.

I grinned and nodded. Putting a finger to his lips, I said, "You don't have to say anything else, Nialler."

Swinging our hands. Laughing. All was perfect. This night is perfect, I thought as we reached my house. Niall had walked me the whole way home! What a great boyfriend!

Wait... Was he really my boyfriend? Or was he referring to something else? Ugh, Layla Looi!! Niall and I exchanged twitter usernames and phone numbers. "Love you," I whispered into Niall's ear when we broke apart.

"Me too," he said softly, his face so close to mine. Oh my god. This was it. My first kiss. But no. Niall kissed my forehead instead, obviously not prepared for a full kiss.

I reached out bravely and pecked him on the cheek before running into the house.

That night was awesome!

Niall's POV

I touched my cheek, looking up at the window of her house. Never had I once felt SO in love with a girl. Never! Layla Looi was obviously THE ONE.

Walking to the sidewalk, I called our driver to pick me up. Layla's kiss still lingered on my cheek, making me smile. So she was my girlfriend? Perfect.

I was feeling so tired and contented because of our 'date'. Making the first step during the movie was REALLY hard. At first, when she moved her hand away, I had assumed that she didn't like me. Luckily, I tried again.

Layla Looi. The one. Now that's sorted.

Shit. Now I have to break the news to the boys.
