Chapter 6: Meeting My Enemy

After Lunch with my best friend Kala, I returned to the office to finish out the day. A couple hours later it was time to go home. "Sir, I will be heading out now. Is that ok?" I looked at Mr. Solstice. He had his head down working on some papers. Thinking he did hear me, I asked again "Is it ok if I head home now, Sir."

Since I needed confirmation that we were done for today, I went over and tapped his shoulder. "Sir? Are you all Right?" Suddenly he grabbed my arm roughly. "Yimp!?" I yelped my weird yelp. "No, My Dear Livie. We have some Chatting To Do." A deep rumbly voice came from Mr. Sol. "That's not like his normal sweet, caring voice." I thought to my self.

A deep dry chuckle rang through the office "I can Hear The Gears turning in Your Head, even without my Powers." " Who are you?" I asked. I had a pretty good idea who this voice might be. I just need conformation. "Who am I? You know Exactly Who I am, Livie. I am Crimson." Crimson's voice rumbled from Mr. Sol's mouth.

"What do you want Crimson? I know at this moment you can't hurt me. Your not physically here. So why are you here." I questioned Crimson with a unwavering voice, even though I was absolutely terrified. Crimson let out a deep creepy laugh. "What do I Want at the Moment, Nothing. I just Wanted to see Who I'm going to be Fighting in the Future. I'm not Worried at all for Myself, Now That I have Seen you."

I managed to get my arm out of his grip during the conversation. I just kept telling myself that "I'm going to be fine when I fight this monster. I will Not be alone when I face the beast." " If that is all you came to see then, go away and let my boss go." I said as I stood up straight.

Crimson gave a dry chuckle "Wanna get Rid of me Already, love?" I have never wanted to puke so bad. "Do not call me that, ever again." I said with venom in my voice.

"Call you What? Love?" I grabbed a throw pillow from the couch and threw it at him. Not care at the moment that the body he was currently using to speak to me was my boss. "That do not call me "love" you know my name."

Crimson just gave me a deep, dry chuckle. "See you Later, Love." "Don't call me Love you creep" I yelled as I chucked another pillow at him, not realizing that he had left.

"Ow. Livie you better have a good explanation for why you just threw a pillow at me." I froze realizing now that Crimson had let go Mr. Sol, and I just chucked a pillow at him.

"Um. I would like to say I'm sorry for throwing a pillow at you, twice." I apologized quickly. "I was coming over to get confirmation that we where done for today. When you suddenly grabbed me, except it was not you. It was Crimson controlling your body. We talked and I found out he just wanted to see what he was up against. Then he started calling me "Love". I didn't like that so I said don't call me that. He did it again and I threw the first pillow and said he knew my name. Before he left he call me "Love" again, so I threw the second pillow not realizing he was gone."

Mr. Sol just sighed " Its ok Livie. Your not in trouble now that I know why the pillow was chucked. I never expected for Crimson to show himself so early. I think its best if we both head home now. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow."

"Yes. Have a good evening Mr. Sol." I said as I walked out the door. On my way home i thought about how I am going to find the first one. the only thing i have to go on is one letter. the letter "W".

I went up to my room when I got home and when to bed. "Maybe I will get more clues tonight." I thought as I drifted off to sleep.
