It was nine-thirty pm on the clock as I hear mom knocking on my door and telling mo to go downstairs. Medyo napa-"ugh." naman ako kasi nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pag-babasa ng libro but I stood up and went downstairs anyway. Lahat sila na sa sala, they're sitting too formal as if they never knew me.

"Okay, what's all this?"

I said then sat to my favorite seat in the sofa set. Siguro talagang 'pag nasa isang pamilya hindi mo maiiwasan pumili ng paboritong lugar, upuan or whatnot parang nasanay ka kasi nandoon ka lagi. 

"Cashmere Allhaine Sophia A. Yip, try not to freak out with this announcement okay?"

I looked to Calvin but it looks like he is starting to tear up, have they scolded him? He was about to cry but he just focused his eyes on the ground. Really? What is going on? Eto 'yung mga nakaka-tense na sandali e, hindi mo alam kung ano 'yung sasabihin and you have a big expectation because of the tension. Worse, pa-cliff-hanger pa ang ag-sasalita. It is also the same when someone told you that: "May sasabihin ako sa 'yo." You will really feel nervous even though you haven't knew what's happening. That is what I am feeling right now.

"Okay. What is it?"

"Your dad and I will stay in US for our business trip."

Una, hindi ko alam kung tatawa ako, pangalawa, I really don't know why do hey have to announce that in this way. I mean, it is not a surprise for m and Calvin to know that they're going to be away. Palagi kasi silang nasa business trip, they already crossed the world. So why do they have to tell that to us in this deadly-searious mode. Pero, bakit paiyak na si Calvin? Minsan nga masaya pa siyang wala si Mom at Dad dahil pwede siyang mag-PSP all day. That's weird.

"Mom, we really understand that, right Calvin? Saka madalas na naman po kayong nag-oout of the country e."

I saidwhile relaxing my tensed body. Parang nawala na lahat ng kaba dahil alam ko na 'yung sasabihin nila, and it doesn't seem so. . .devastating? I don't know what word to use. I mean hindi nakakalungkot anf balitang 'yon dahil sanay kami. I ust don't know, ugh.

"We will take Calvin with us, and we decided to take you to another house."

I processed verything in my mind. . . slowly. I really know what they meant but there's still part of me that's not believing. May side na gusto ko pero may side na ayaw ko.

"Huh? What do you mean? Another house? you're giving me a condo or something? or you don't want me anymore?"

"Of course, it is not that. But remember we love you and this is for your own sake Okay? We are going to leaven by one am. We took care of everything you will be needing. Malalaman mo rin ang reason namin."

Nakaupo ako doon, tulala, I really don't know what to react about what my mom said. Patuloy akong nag-iisp at tinitignan o na rin ang possible na dahilan at kung ano ang magigin life ko mag-isa. I bet I can still visit them, don't I? Wala pa talaga ako sa katinuan to ask further questions.
