The bell rang and Swara sighed in relief as the class was extremely boring with every passing day. It's already been a month Swara joint the school and she quickly adapted to everything.

Swara stood up to leave and as felt something hit her shoe, she looked down only to see Sanskaar's pen which was dropped on the floor. She bent down at the same time Sanskaar did and both accidentally hit each other's forehead. As they whined in pain, both looked at each other. Sanskaar quickly stood while Swara took the pen and placed it on his table still rubbing her forehead.

"Why do you keep bothering me?" He folded his arms near his chest and looked at her. Swara who was confused by his words, gazed back at him.

"What? I just helped you and I don't think I bothered you just by getting your pen back to you." Swara rolled her eyes making Sanskaar gritted his teeth.

"I do have hands to take care of my own things. I can take care of them so mind your own things." Swara's jaw literally dropped to the ground.

"Excuse me! I took the pen not because it was yours and even if it was someone else I would have helped them." Swara huffed. Was helping someone to take a pen which they dropped was wrong?

"Yesterday in the café you did the same thing. You asked for cold brew and then when the order came to you said you asked for Cappuccino." Sanskaar mumbled and unfortunately Swara heard his words and her eyes popped out.

"Yah! It was you who mistook the order and gave something else. And now you are blaming me? Me?" Swara howled in disbelief.

"You--"

"Sanskaar and Swara if you want to fight then get out of my class." The entire class silenced with the angry shout of the teacher and their eyes fixed on Swara and Sanskaar.

Completely embarrassed Swara and Sanskaar took their seats asking an apology from the teacher. They didn't even know when the break period got over as they where busy arguing. Swara pouted as her plan for going to canteen went in vain since she missed her breakfast and she was damn hungry. She turned to his side and found his burning gaze on her. Swara throwing a deadly glare she turned away.

Swara came back from the canteen after having lunch and saw the hustle bustle near the notice board. Students and notice board, something's fishy!

She walked closer to the notice board and many students were congratulating her. All confused Swara went inside the crowd and the paper stuck with bell pins displaying

'Monthly Exam Results'

Oh! So that's the hustle bustle.

Her eyes went further down and she saw her name displayed first followed by Sanskaar Malhotra's name in the second. A small spread on her lips. She did it well and he did well too.

So what she heard was right, He was taking over her top position ever since she had left.

Sanskaar was standing next to Swara still looking at the results sheet in daze wondering if he was dreaming or not. He worked so hard and studied without sleep yet she topped him.

"Congrats Sanskaar." Swara whispered to him. Sanskaar jerked a little due to the sudden voice which broke his trance.

"You too." Sanskaar's voice was just a mere whisper and he left.

Swara being a sharp eyed person understood he was disappointed with his marks. Her eyes again travelled  back to the results sheet, twelve marks difference between them.
