A bit of turmoil

Scootaloo's POV,

         I woke in the middle of the night to my drunk dad yelling at my mom for not cleaning the kitchen in a "timely matter," she was crying as he yelled at her.I stood up and walked quietly to my sister's room. I then knocked on the door quietly, I knew she would be awake. She opened the door and whispered "C'mon in. "As I walked in I silently closed the door."Rainbow dash, I'm scared that he's gonna hurt mom this time." I said. She ruffled my hair "And if he does I'll personally introduce my fist to his face" she said with a grin. I laughed quietly and hugged her "thanks sis." I whispered. "That's what big sisters are for." We then heard the front door open then slam loudly, followed by sreeching tires, and the silent sobbing of our mom. "We should go cheer her up Dash." I said. "Yeah, let's go." she said with a slight frown. We walked into the dining room where our mom was crying, and we gave her a comforting hug, which seemed to work since her crying started to die down a bit. "I'm sorry you two had to hear all that."our mom said fighting back tears. "Mom that's what we're here for." Dash said with a smile, I just nodded in agreement and smiled. "Thanks for making me feel better, now he's not gonna be back until next week-" Dash cut her off with "We know, we heard."she said plainly."Good because you two still have school tomorow, so go back to bed." our mom said before sending us to bed."I love you mom, g'night!" I said as I gave her a hug goodnight."I love you too scootaloo, now off to bed." I rushed to bed, after all it my my first day in highschool.
