We're in the car and I'm driving Abbey back to my place. She's going to stay the night and go back to hers in the morning. She just finished telling me about her trip to Bali, it sounds like it was awesome.

"So, are you going to tell me about your new shirt?" She looks at me and I smile. "Are you blushing?" She asks.

"Uh what?" I laugh, "of course not."

"Tell!"

"Okay, okay. So, while I was waiting for you I stopped off at a coffee shop when I guy walked into me spilling coffee all over my shirt." I take a look at her in the corner of my eye to see her fingers go into the air crossed.

"Please tell me he's hot!" She pleads.

"Be quiet I'm not finished," I laugh, "but yes, he is." She smirks at my response, she'll never let this go now.

"Anyways, so he lent me his shirt."

"Lent? As in borrowed? Meaning you have to give it back, correct?" I see where she's going with this.

"Correct. At least I hope to see him again."

"Are you going to call him?"

"What?" I laugh, "of course not, wouldn't I seem creepy?"

She rolls her eyes, "no."

"I don't know... Maybe I'll just see if he calls me first."

"You're a typical teenage girl my friend," she giggles.

"Shut up Abbey, you'd be the same. Remember Jake? 'Oh Jake please text me first, Jake never texts me first I don't think he likes me anymore, if I call Jake he'll probably dump me,'" I mock how she used to be around her ex-boyfriend.

"Don't even go there Cara Bennett, he was a big mistake anyway."

"Well I'm just glad you realised that," I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Me too."

Once we're home we go into my room and crash on my bed. I seem to find myself checking my phone every 2 seconds.
"Cara," she speaks up.

"Abbey?"

"I know what you're doing."

"And what am I doing?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh please, don't act stupid," she grins, "text him."

"No way, I only met him a few hours ago."

"So?"

"Maybe tomorrow..." I sit up with my legs crossed and grab a pillow, "movie?"

"Hell yeah," she jumps up and goes to my drawer where I keep my movies.

"We should watch something we haven't seen, I have a few in there." I say.

She takes out a DVD and looks at it for a bit then looks to me.

"American Horror Story: Asylum? I haven't seen this season yet."

Even though it wasn't something we both hadn't seen, let alone a movie, I was just happy to have Abbey back and didn't really care what we watched.

"Sure thing." I smile grabbing the TV remote and clicking the 'on' button. "I'll go get us some popcorn."

"Wait." She says before I leave the room.

"Yeah?"

"Cara... I love you, but you're still in your school skirt and that shirt, also you smell like coffee and I don't like it, it's starting to smell bad. Also, I've been in these clothes for 26 hours, can we please shower first?"
