Bert and Arthur are the best of friends since childhood. Their friendship became stronger when they got married and had children. Terrence and Muriel have the same birthday. Terrence grew up as a hardworking student and a good son. Bert gave all the love and nuturing he could give and become a self disciplined man. Bert became a successful entrepreneur while his wife Siena is a university professor. However, Arthur's daughter Muriel is the opposite of Terrence. She grew up living the life of luxury although they are not rich but they are not poor. Arthur is an engineer while his wife Alexandra is working in the United States as a nurse. Now that Terrence and Muriel are in their teenage years, Bert and Arthur think that it's time for their children to be on their own. So, on their 18th birthday, they decided that it's time for them to get married. However, Terrence doesn't like Muriel very much. Aside from being a greedy girl, Muriel is also sophisticated. But as time goes by, the two will know each other on the four years of stay in the same university their fathers went.
