Alfie's p.o.v:
"Zoeeee" I called from my office/filming room in our new house we recently bought together.
"Yes Alfie?" She called back from upstairs.
"Can you take Nala out for a wee?" I screeched. Knowing she would tell me to do it, I quickly added "I'm editing"
I heard the harsh, heavy breathing getting louder and louder coming from just outside my office door. After a couple of seconds a little head popped through. In came Nala (our new baby pug) and she immediately jumped straight onto my lap.
Zoe walked in "looks like she'd rather you take her out" she laughed looking at the excited puppy on my lap. I placed Nala on the floor and walked to the back door making sure she was close behind. As I was about to open it, I heard the cuttest little barks coming from Nala. She had seen her reflection in the mirrored sliding door and thought another puppy was starring at her. Zoe took the opportunity and picked up my vlogging camera and started filming her.
"Go on Nala, you get her" I teased as the puppy continued barking at her tiny reflection. After a while Zoe stopped recording and I proceeded to taking Nala for a wee. When I came back in Zoe had put on the classic Christmas film 'Elf' and grabbed a bowl of crisps.
"What's all this, little one?" I asked as I grabbed a blanket and a chip from the bowl.
"I thought we could watch a film together" she replied as she snuggled up to me. As soon as we got comfy, Nala barked to tell us she wanted to hop up too. I placed her bed next to me and popped her in it. Half way through the film, I realized I was the only one awake. Both Nala and Zoe were fast asleep. I softly picked up Nala and popped her in the 'crate' she sleeps in. I tapped Zoe on the shoulder and whispered "little one.. You ready for bed?" There was no reply as I guessed. I slid my arms around Zoe and carried her upstairs to our bedroom softly passing her on her side of the bed. I took off my shirt and pants leaving me in my boxers. I hopped under the covers as it was freezing. Zoe rolled over and put her arm around my waist still fast asleep as ever. I layed in bed letting my eyes flutter closed. I was soon fast asleep.
