I gulped down the Chocolate Milk I had poured and put the carton back in the fridge. I walked out of the kitchen and into the lounge room, approaching the TV.
'Twas Christmas Eve Eve (The day before Christmas Eve) and our beautiful Christmas Tree shone in the small space at which we put it. As I walked past it, I noticed something rather odd.
A present. Under the tree.
Now that may not seem very odd to some people, as that's what the tree is meant for, but it stood out because it was the only present there.
At the time I was home alone. Nobody could've put it there. I turned my attention to the front door.
Locked.
There was no way someone could've gotten in! Unless...
I slowly turned my head toward the chimney.
The door was wide open, and the fire out.
I had lit that fire moments before I went and got myself some milk.
I shook the very thought of it out of my head and turned towards the present.
It was gift wrapped in blue and orange, with a pink bow on top. I rotated the box to see whom it was addressed to, and found myself surprised to see it was addressed to me.
"Dear Will Ash:
Get testing!"How Vague.
After thinking about it lots, I finally decided to open it. I mean, it obviously wasn't from any family members.
I opened it slowly and carefully, as I do with all of my presents, to find a very peculiar box.
