Chapter 1: The Books

It was just past midnight and the Gryffindor girl's dormitory was silent and still but for a slight stirring from Hermione. She had just awoken as she had several times this week, from another dream of sex and romance who's details faded as soon as she tried to remember them. She did not put much stock in dreams, being the most wooly and no doubt fraudulent branch of divination but she could hardly ignore the lust that filled her since she had been actively pursued by Viktor Krum last year.

Hermione tried to return to sleep, but found herself too energetic and filled with a furious need for release. She resolved to sneak to the library again and find some suitable reading materials. She dressed, grabbed her wand and her bag, then set off into the castle.

Although she didn't have the benefit of Harry's invisibility cloak, she knew the route from Gryffindor tower to the library like her own wand. The hallways were empty and she soon found herself in the library. Hermione had been visiting the library after hours for the past month ever since she had found several shelves of books labeled "Pleasantly Erotic Tales, Spells, Potions and Miscellany" in the Restricted section.

"Lumos."

By the wand light she began perusing the titles of the first shelf. She spied "Love Potions and Sexual Disaster: A Collection of St. Mungo's Sauciest Patients", "Vampires, Witches and Wands" "Room for Three" and many others but found that none caught her eye.

She moved on down the row and examined another shelf that was considerably dustier, appearing as though nobody had touched these books in quite a long time. Examining the books she found them much more risque, "The Beast with Two Backs; Werewolf Sexuality", "The Princess and the Centaur" and one seemingly out of place, "A Study of the Spells of 17th Century Witch Covens in the New World". She decided on "The Princess and the Centaur" and put the Witch Coven book in her bag to examine later.
