It's been over a week since I've updated, and now that I got my school laptop (our school gives us laptops, I know, so cool!!), I can update whenever I want. OK, here's the next chapter.

Chapter 30

Ariana's POV

Everything was going just as planned. Too bad it wouldn’t stay that way for long.

I walked Perrie to the auditorium. I was smirking the whole way there. Finally, Perrie's reign of terror was coming to an end.

We walked through the front doors of the auditorium. I wasn't exactly planning on walking with her any farther than that, cuz I know what was gonna happen, and I did not want to be covered in feathers.

"Walk with me." Perrie said once a came to a dead stop.

"Um...no, that's OK, you go on ahead." I reassured her. My comment did not convince her one bit.

"Why?" she asked.

"Cuz...I wanna get ready for class. It's starts in about 15 minutes."

Perrie just stared at me. There was a glare of desperation and annoyance. It's like she wanted me to go with her.

"Look, Ari, nothing bad is gonna happen. Now walk your ass with me."

I don’t know why, but I believed her. She has a way of making people believe her. I know that if I walked with Perrie all the way to the stage, feathers were gonna rain down, and a large bucket of glue.

But I also knew that Jesy and some theater geeks would be watching on who was walking on the stage, and they wouldn't let me get covered.

Perrie led me to the stage. I walked quietly behind her. Did she know something I did, or she really didn’t know what was coming her way. We walked up the steps, and as soon as we were standing on the stage, we stopped. Perrie began to speak.

“I’m glad we’re friends, aren’t you Ari?” Perrie asked.

“Um, sure?” I responded.

“You don’t sound so sure.”

I didn’t know how to respond to that. I don’t wanna be Perrie’s friend. Maybe a few days ago, I did, but not anymore. Now that I know she’s just using me. I looked down at the stage floor.

“I would never do anything to hurt one of my friends, you know.” She kept on talking. I nodded.

“People think I’m a bitch, but I’m really not. People just don’t understand me.” Was she being for real?

“So, if you’re not a bitch, and you would never do anything to hurt your friends, why did you do what you did to Jade?” I asked. Perrie looked at me. There was a look of confusion on her face.

“Why, I would never do anything to hurt my little Jadey.” She responded.

“Don’t act dumb with me. You tried to ruin her chances with her ex-boyfriend so you could have him all to yourself.” Who does Perrie think she is? Is she really gonna try to deny this?

“How do you know all this?” Perrie asked me, in a mean way.

“Jade told me everything. She would never lie to me. She’s a real friend, unlike you.” Perrie’s jaw dropped. Yeah, that’s right, I told her.

She just smiled, and started to laugh.

“But that Ariana, is where you are wrong.” As soon as the words left her mouth the lights dimmed, and I heard all the doors close. I could hear breathing, and it wasn’t Perrie’s.

I got scared real fast. I looked every which way. It was dark. The only thing I could see was Perrie standing in front of me.

“So, Ariana, tell me, what exactly did Jade tell you?”

I swallowed very loudly.

“Well, she said you tried breaking her up with her boyfriend, because you always get everything you want.” My head followed Perrie was she was walking to and fro around me.

“That’s true, I always get what I want. Even if it means destroying others.”

“I also agree with you on that.” Said a voice, and out of the darkness, stepped Jade.

“Jade! What are you doing here, I thought we planned that you would be helping Jesy!” I told her.

“What talking cabbage?” she responded. Huh?

“You see Ari, in order for me to get what I want, as I have mentioned earlier, I destroy people. Sometimes, it’s in different ways. Like in this case, making them believe they have friends, when really, they are just worthless losers. Everything we have ever told you, is a lie.” Perrie and Jade looked at each other, and started to laugh.

“So, Jade, the story you told me, it was fake?” I asked Jade. She nodded. I let out a gasp.

“I thought we were friends.” I added. My feelings were hurt, and they got even more hurt when they started to laugh at me.

“Be friends with you? Ha, I have all the friends I need, one of them not being you.” That really hurt me.

“Oh, Ari, stupid, stupid little Ari. You should’ve known better.” Perrie went on.

I wanted to cry. What have I ever done? What did I ever do to deserve this kind of treatment?

“Why Perrie, why would you do all this? What do you want?”

“Zayn.” Was her response.

“Zayn? Don’t you already have him?” I asked her.

“Yes, but come on, it’s obvious that he loves you. The way he looks at you, the way he acts around you. No one has ever acted like that towards me. Zayn, he’s the first person I’ve ever had a crush on, the first person I’ve ever developed true feelings for. But I can’t have him cuz you’re in the way. I want Zayn to do all those things to me, not you, and I will do whatever I can to make him love him. Even if it means killing you.” Perrie looked at me, more menacing than I have ever seen her.

She really does love Zayn, I thought. She’s also very insecure. She doesn’t think Zayn will like her as much as he likes me. Zayn likes me. Zayn really does like me.

“You’re not really gonna kill me, are you?” I asked her.

Perrie laughed. “Of course not silly! But once I’m done, you’re gonna wish I did.”

And with that, I heard a loud creaking noise somewhere above me. I looked up, and 3 buckets of glue came boring down on me.

No, this cannot be happening, I thought. Oh, but yes it is. I was stuck on the stage, and not only that, the lights from the audience came on, and I saw people pointing and laughing at me. They really think this is funny? I felt like crying, but that’s when the feathers came down.

I couldn’t move. I was stuck. I couldn’t run away, hide, or cry. I mean I could, but everyone would see me. There’s nothing much to lose, now that my reputation has been destroyed.

Can things can any more worse, I thought?

Yes, they always can. Cuz as soon as I threw myself on the ground to cry, the back doors of the auditorium opened, and standing in front of me were Leigh-Anne, Jesy…and Zayn.

So, what do you guys think? I know, I don’t update much, it’s cuz of school. School just takes up too much time, not to mention Twitter and Tumblr. But there is no school tomorrow, so I will try to get a chapter in by tomorrow, but until then, comment, vote, and wait, this story is getting so much better!!!
