Chapter 38

Katy's POV

We were waiting for Ryan at Liam's house. Liam was having a movie night with Duke , Lilith and Carol. So he invited me and Ryan also.

"Anyone wants pizza ?"? Asked Liam as he handed the box to Duke. And Duke passed it to Carol.

Duke grab a slice and started munching on it. Lilith took a bite from the same slice. And they both smiled at each other. I smiled at them because they look so cute together.

Just then Ryan appeared with his mother. I quickly hugged his mother.

"Hello Ma'am ! How are you ?". I asked.

"Call me mommy , I'm fine dear. How about you ?".

"Fine". I said smiling.

I glanced at Ryan. He smiled at me. I hugged him as well. Then Liam entered and he too hugged Ryan. Then Liam took Ryan and his mother in another room and closed the door.

I was suspicious. But couldn't go inside as it is bad manners. After few seconds they came out and Ryan's mother left.

Ryan and Liam came out of the room. I asked them what happened and they both replied with nothing. But still I was curious. Liam never did that. He never locked the door for someone. And he never kept secrets.

When I saw Ryan alone , I walked to him and kissed his cheek. He blushed and I loved that. Then he grabbed my waiste and pulled me closer.

"Ryan what's wrong tell me. I mean what were you guys talking about ?". I asked.

"Nothing , my mom and Liam's mom are friends .. so she was here to meet Liam's mom". Ryan replied.

Suddenly all my curiosity died. And I smiled at him. Not only smile , I hugged him tightly.

"You look beautiful in this outfit". Said Ryan. I blushed at his compliment. "So cute".

"Ryan ?". I pulled my head outside of his chest.

"Hmm". He hummed as he pushed a loose strand of my hairs behind my ears.

"You love me right ?". I asked.

"Ofcourse I love you. I started loving you the first time I saw you". He replied.

"Don't tell me ... show me". I said smirking at him.

He smirked back at me.

"No problem for me". He said as he grabbed my waiste tightly so that I won't escape and then he kissed me.

His lips were soft. To be honest , It tickles me whenever he kisses me. I kissed him back and and then we both pulled to see each other's faces.

I put my hand on his cheek. And kissed him again.

Suddenly we heard a voice as if someone cleared his throat. We quickly looked at the room entrance. It was Liam and Lilith.

"Awww ... the love birds". Said Lilith.

"I love your couple". Said Liam. They both started laughing and we both smiled at each other.

"Don't tease them like this guys ..", Said Carol as she also kissed Liam's cheek. And Liam blushed while rubbing the back of his neck.

After all the dance and crazy activities we all did. Liam decided to play the movie. Lilith and I set the couch and Liam's tv room. Then we all settled down.

The couch was taken by Ryan and me. The chairs were taken by Liam and Carol. Lilith and Duke sat down on the floor and got cosy.

The film was played. We all were watching Iron Man part 3. Liam was eating a box full of popcorn. While me and Ryan were eating doritos. And this was the third time Ryan fed me with his hands.

Then I picked a crisp and put it inside his mouth. He smiled at me.

"That is the most tasty one I've ever eaten". He said.

I blushed and glanced at the tv.

"What was that ?". Duke asked.

"Nothing , the love birds are in love". Said Liam.

Honestly these guys are my favourite people. They are my life. Liam , Duke and Lilith , they have made my life a beautiful memory. And Ryan... he's the best part of this memory.

Only few minutes of the film were left. I started feeling tired. So I rested my head on Ryan's shoulders and he caressed my head. I feel so protective when he's around me.

I feel like I'm safe. I am really happy that I got him in my life. As my partner. Oh wait.. Not yet. I wish he just proposed me soon.

Ryan's POV

She has the softest skin in this world. Her beautiful eyes , her silky hairs felt like they are laid on me. Her cuteness. She is the most precious and ravishing thing occured in my life.

I lay hold of her hand and kissed her knuckles. She giggled. I just want to make her mine. But If I ask her to marry me , is it going to be so soon ? Because maybe she is not completely out of her trauma.

Maybe I should wait ... because I have a lot of time now right ?

I asked myself. I was so happy with the thought of finally getting what I want.

It was 12.06 am.The movie ended. Everyone decided to leave and so did Katy. Liam hugged me and I saw sadness on his face. I pat his shoulder and whispered. "Everything's going to be okay".

Then I turned to Katy and we both walked towards my car. I opened the door for Katy and she sat on the passenger seat. I sat beside her and we were on our way to Katy's house.

"Teddy ?". She called without looking at me.

"Yeah ?". I said.

"Are you free tomorrow?". She asked.

"Umm .. why ?".

"I was thinking maybe you can come with me to the venetian causeway bridge". She asked.

"The bridge ? But why ?".

"Actually in our family we believe that if we spin a coin on any bridge with a wish , that wish always come true".

I was so fascinated by her way of talking. So calming and courteous.

"Ahh ... I would love to but actually tomorrow I'm kinda busy. My brother Brody has an appointment with the doctor". I said.

"Oh , no problem. I'll go with my mom". She said and I sensed dejection coming from her side.

I wish I could be there Katy. I thought.

"I'm sorry". I said.

"No it's okay.. It's no big deal". She said and kissed my cheek. I smiled at her.

When we reached her home , she waved me goodbye and then I left for my house.
