Fireworks were fading as Maya got the courage to look her best friend in the eye.
It was over with.
Maya no longer had to keep a secret but now everything is much more complicated than it should have been.
Because of one six year old.

"Tell me my six year old son is..."
"He's not. He isn't lying," Josh said as he looked at Maya.
"Don't look at her. Are you crazy! What were you thinking?" Riley asked as Maya stood up.

"I don't think it's his fault. We both felt something and that didn't go away as fast as we thought it would. It's not his fault neither was it mine. When two people know each other for awhile it's quite often that they develop feelings. What are we gonna do, Josh?" Maya asked.
"I don't know," Josh said and Maya exhaled.
