Shukran Mualim

Assalaamu alaykum Waragmatoelaa Hie Wabarakaatoe

To: Mualim Fakier

When I began Mualim’s class,

I knew the kind of challenges that I’m going to face.

It was worth getting scold at and receiving hiding,

Because now I’m finally able to read the holy Quran

in the most beautiful pace.

Even when I made a mistake after a mistake
Mualim said that this is how we learn, the more we make.

I say Shukran, for showing me the way,
I simply don't know, how I will be able to ever repay.

I say Shukran now for everything that everyone has ever done

I make duah that the teachings Mualim has taught me shall never outgrow

The Reciting and memorising of the Quran will be a benefit to me

In many ways than anyone will ever know.

Allah has picked me as one of Allah’s roses

And I’m only now coming into bloom.

May the strength of my iemaan keep my roots in place

And god willing, I shall be fully grown, very soon.

It's people like Mualim
who brings happiness into the lives of others,
to wonderful children,
and to their mothers and fathers.

May Allah S.W.A bless Mualim
with all the love and care.
We want to Thank Mualim,
for always being there.

I say Shukran for having patience with me

I will remember Mualim my whole life through.

May Allah shower you with blessings

For everything that I’ve learnt from your class,

May your teachings help me build a better future

With the knowledge from your class.

Mualim is a great teacher...

I stand here short and proud,

So that everyone can see

How much Mualim

means to me.
