In the dark night, Salvator traveled the mysterious island accidentally. While walking in the shore, he saw a basket being washed up by the waves of the sea. Being curious, he walked towards the basket and in there he saw a young baby, he later named, “James”.
James grew up to be a brave young boy. He never was afraid of facing wild animals in the forests. He always loves to fight. He loves hunting animals by using a shotgun and every trigger pulled was a bull’s eye. He was taken care and was loved by his parents named Edmund Salvator, his father and the one who saw him in the shore, and his mother Caroline Salvator. He also has a best friend named Denise. She has been with James since they were so young.
A lot of strange events are happening in the island. There are soldiers who were killed and most of them got their heads ripped apart. Some say that it’s not the work of a man. They say that it’s a work of a monster. They later called it, “The Pentasorous.” It is the monster who was rumored of killing soldiers. Many people have seen it and they believe it only attacks soldiers. They don’t know why but it must be taken down and should be killed. James heard about monsters under the sea and the Pentasorous. Most children always become afraid of hearing rumors about monsters, but it was complete opposite for James. James is fired up hearing monsters and he wanted to fight and slay monsters. James wanted to be strong, so he met up with Connor, the Chief of the island.
Connor is a man who has survived many wars and is one of the people who have fought sea monsters. James wanted Connor to teach him how to fight. Connor liked his spirit and agreed to train him.
10 years has passed, James has grown up to be a fine warrior. He learned how to use weapons for slaying sea monsters. James was one of the people who are excellent in hunting monsters.
An incident happened in the east of the Sea of Bermuda Triangle. Ships have sunk and many people died. Connor, as the chief of the island, sent James and a few soldiers to have an expedition to where the incident took place. It was James first expedition, it was his first mission. James together with a few soldiers rode a boat going to the east. Just before a few miles, suddenly a gigantic monster washed up and crushed up the boat. It was known commonly as the Kraken. Soldiers died being crushed in the boat, but this didn’t stop James from fighting the monster. He held up his shotgun pointing to the eye of the Kraken which blinded the monster. He put back his shotgun and quickly gets his 2 razor sharp swords known as his twin blades and sliced through the tentacles. The Kraken couldn’t do anything but just moan of pain. James flew to the Kraken’s head, slicing through and cutting the Kraken’s head off. The Kraken was killed, and for the first time of the history, a human had killed a monster.
James felt very happy, but also felt numbness and pain due to his wounds in his body, and is slowly sinking in the water and laid down on the sea floor. He thought he was going to be dead due to suffocation, but he turned out to be okay. As a matter of fact he was really okay. It turned out that his wounds were healing fast. He was surprised, but what he was so surprised and shocked about, is how he can breathe underwater. He was so surprised and when he finally recovered, he ignored and tried to forget what happened when he was under the sea. He brought the Kraken’s head with him, as a symbol of human’s bravery.
James returned to Costa Luna, very happy of his first kill. With the Kraken’s head that is brought to the island, he was known as
“The Water Breaker” and is treated as a hero in the island. For being famous as a strong warrior, he was sent in another expedition in the West Sea. James was confident of killing another monster. A few hours later in the sea, just before they arrived in their destination, a very large whirlpool appeared below their ship. It was so large that it swallowed the entire ship. James barely managed to get out of the ship, and swam fast under the sea. He was confident in the water because he could breathe without knowing the reason why. He swam fast and then a few seconds later, he heard strange sounds echoing in the waves. James started to lose his speed and his body was becoming numb and moments later he fell asleep. He realized that he heard the Song of the Siren.
