"I kind of wanna go home." I slump in boredom. "Don't be like that, everyone came out just for you!" Nile smiles at me while giving me a party hat. "No, they came out for free food and cake. Not to mention they don't have to do work." I shrug. "Besides, you guys are terrible at keeping secrets. I already knew I was having a party." I sigh. "Exactly." I smile leaning on to him. Having a best friend who's also your crush sucks ass. "Can we go?" I push him playfully. "At least have some cake!" He gets up and takes a slice from the table. "Look its a piece of your name! How lucky!" I take the cake and put some icing on his face. "Sorry, my finger slipped. Lets go." I stand up. He sighs. "You're such an introvert." He shakes his head. "Let me find Lex and we can get out of here." We should just leave her here. "Okay." We walk and look for Lex. Geez, this party was a complete fail. The cake wasn't even that good. Adults. I come face to face with Nile's back. "Ow! Why'd you stop?" I look in front of him. My eyes widened. Oh no. Oh shit. "What are you doing, Lex?!" Nile yelled as Lex stood up quickly. She was giving one of my coworkers a blowjob. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Thats the first time in a while I heard Nile cuss. He's usually laid back. He must really be mad. After my horrible party, Nile didn't talk to me for the whole time. He just went straight to his room. Oh and since we're best friends we share a house. He sleeps in the room across from mine. You can't imagine how hard it is living with your crush. Seeing him everyday at work too. Right before I was going to tell him how I felt he told me he was crushing on someone else. That bastard, Lex. It hurt but he was really happy. And I was happy because he was happy. Or whatever. It doesn't mean it still didn't hurt. I mean what could I do? Tell them to break up just because of my petty feelings? It wasn't going to change anything. I was just glad he was happy.

Time went past and I still can't sleep. I wonder if Niles still up. Is he okay? I don't want to bother him. Ah, what the hell am I saying? He just got his heart broken and you wanna bother him more? Imagine how hurt he's feeling right now. Geez. I should just get some sleep.
