Lost ~ Chapter 1

A/n: Hello you lovely readers. This one will be more like the reader's backstory. There will be a couple chapters explaining just the reader's life up until she joins UA, so bare with me a bit. 

The day was just like any other day. You were at home, enjoying a family dinner after a day of school. However, today wasn't just any day, for it was your birthday.

Even though your parents were pro heroes, they had always made time for you and your little brother. They had made you all your favorite foods, baked you a cake, and even got you presents. You honestly felt like the luckiest child in the world, and loved spending time with your family. However, all that would soon change. Happiness and laughter soon turned into chaos and screaming.

Villains had made their way into your house without warning and without a noise. Your father had tried to put up a barrier with his quirk to protect you and your family, however it was easily canceled. You were easily taken hostage by a villain who currently had his hand around your neck, and another villain appeared behind your family.

Without any time to react, your entire family was murdered right in front of you, and quite brutally too. You screamed out of horror, just before you were knocked out unconscious, and taken away with the villains.

Soon enough, police and pro heroes alike were called to your house, after some worried neighbors heard terrifying noises and screaming.

Pro heroes and some detectives had walked onto the scene of your family's dead bodies, all with disbelief and horror on their faces.

"W-what..happened here!?" Asked a pro, by the name of Midnight, in disbelief.

"Looks to be the work of some villains m'am," an unnamed police officer had stated matter of factually.

"There's no way...I mean, (Y/f's) quirk was always so...invisible," another pro by the name of Eraserhead had said.

As the pros looked among the scene of your family's dead bodies, the realized a very important detail. 

Another pro, Present Mic, spoke up, "Wait...where's (y/n)? Their daughter?"

Midnight gasped out of realization, "That's right! I don't see her body!"

As they realized you weren't counted among the dead, them along with the police, did a thorough search of and around your house, hoping to find you hiding somewhere, but with no luck, they all gathered at the scene of the crime.

"There's no sign of her. Perhaps...she was kidnapped..?" Midnight had suggested.

"Why would they want (y/n)? Present Mic simply asked confused.

Eraserhead then noticed an item on the ground, the picked it up. Looking at it curiously for a bit, he had suddenly realized it belonged to you. A ribbon, that you would always wear in your hair.

"This is (y/n's).." he said, before taking out a picture of you and your family in order to confirm.

The other pros had gathered around him to view the photo, all with sad looks on their faces.

"We won't stop looking for you (y/n)..we promise we'll get you back home," Eraserhead said confidently, as he safely tucked your ribbon into his pocket.

You had just started to wake up from being knocked out, your vision still a little blurry, however, you were able to make out where you were generally, and what was happening.

Looking around, you had realized you were in a room. Rather sterile looking, it had all white walls and floors, no windows, and a metal door in front of you, and a rather uncomfortable looking bed off the the side.

Now fully awake, you realized you were trapped to a chair. Eyes now wide with realization, you tried to break free. To no avail however, you started panicking, wondering what was to happen next. As if on cue, two figures had opened the metal door and walked in the room, their appearance instantly startling you.

"Glad to see you're awake. I'd like to properly introduce ourselves. We are the League of Villains, and you've been chosen to help us with our mission," a purple looking mist guy said. 

"W-what mission..?" You asked with anger, though your fear had caused you to stutter.

Soon after, a third figure had stepped into the room, his appearance scaring you even more.

"To kill the symbol of peace.." he calmly stated as he walked into the room and stood in front of you. "Hello child, I am All For One. This is Kuroguri, and over there is Shigaraki," he explained, while pointing to the other two figures.

Kuroguri was standing next to All For One, his appearance not too frightening, however, it was Shigaraki's who was down right terrifying. He was currently leaning against the wall in a corner, arms crossed. He had his hood up, and as he looked at you, his piercing red eyes seemed to be staring into your soul. He gave you an eerie smile, which gave you goosebumps all over your body.

"But why do you need me..?" You had asked, still with anger in your voice.

"You're parents were pro heroes, were they not?" All For One had simply asked

"They were well loved by everyone and very powerful," you stated, anger now clearly showing on your face.

"Very powerful...see, for that is why I took their quirks. I knew they wouldn't come willingly, so I had no other choice in the matter," All For One said without any empathy.

"You killed my entire family...just so you could have their quirks?" You asked, angry more than ever, now knowing the reason for this madness.

"In time, you will get used to your new reality. Because this is it my dear, and we, are your new family now," All For One continued with.

"You will never be my family," you said, clenching your firsts in anger.

"In time my child, in time," All For One finished with as he slowly walked out of the room, motioning the others to follow.

Kuroguri simply took his leave, but Shigaraki took one last look at you and smirked, before following Kuroguri out, shutting the door behind him and locking it.

You sat there dumbfounded, not believing this was actually happening to you. After everything sank in, you began crying, feeling lost and helpless, wondering if anyone even knew or cared you were missing.

However little did you know, everyone knew. News of your family's death and your disappearance quickly spread. Media got wind of it pretty fast and everyone was shocked. Pro heroes, friends and police were doing everything they could to get you back to them.
