As Shigeru fell to his death, he felt relieved...he had saved his friends and was glad to be a sacrificed. Until- he blacked out, hitting whatever hard surface on the ground. "Come on...it's time to wake up Shigeru, Your in my dept." Shigeru opened his eyes to a pair of dark purple ones.

"W-who are you?" He stuttered.
"My name is Akane, and your gonna help me with something."
"H-help you with what?"
"I'm sending you to the new world..." She continued.
"Wait did I pass the test?" Shigeru stuttered.
"No but I'm giving you a chance of a lifetime." Shigeru looked down but smiled in relieve, he felt a stinge in his heart but at least his friends were going to the future. "Follow me..." He hesitantly followed the strange scientist, everything was so interesting, as the doors were metal, the way points were in a different language, finally they arrive in a bluish room that seemed like a playroom, four children stood there.

Akane coughed abit. "This is Eliza, Shiro, Neru, and Aiko. Your job is to make sure they survive in the new world."
"W-why me?" he stuttered.
"Because...I see potential in those brown eyes." She put her hand on my cheek and stared into my eyes. "Yes potential.." She repeated and pulled away. "Stay here and get the know them." She then left him with the four children.
"Hello." Shiro greeted as he went up to him. "Are you like us?" He grabbed His hand as he flinched surprised by the sudden touch.
*Shigeru's POV*
I noticed his skin was cold, almost like he was dead.
"U-um are you c-cold?" I stuttered.
"Oh your skin is warm, so your not one of us." He said ominously.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"Your body is real, you have flesh..." I was taken aback, what did he mean?
The scitentist entered the room"-I'm back, follow me Shigeru." The scientist had a clip board of sorts as I followed her, leaving the children's room behind. She then brought me into a room that had a table of buttons and a glass window as I noticed inside the room was weird glass tubes that had some sort of liquid in them but something else, I couldn't make it out.
"Shigeru...this is a chance of a lifetime...." She said to me.
"M-miss what are you talking about?"
"Like a said do you want to go to the new world?" She asked me again, I thought about it and hesitantly nodded my head.
"Y-yes..." I stuttered.
"Than your body has to go, you would just die to easily." The scientist said as she grabbed some sort of button.
"What do you mean my b-body?" I stuttered, a shadow was casted over her eyes she pressed the button.
Another tube started coming from the ground in the room, I could see it clearer now. It was me! My body! It floated inside the tank like tube. "T-that's-" before I could finish my sentence she started explaining what is was.
"This is a body made of Artificial Organisms. This body is a compound of real and artificial parts, working in tandem. A composite body." She explained though I didn't get it, still in shock. "We switch your brain with the composite body and then you'll be close to immortal, regular stuff such as sickness, or infections won't affect you. Here let me think." She put her hand on the side of her cheek. "If you were to jump off a cliff with the composite body it would feel more like a scratch." She kept explaining as she marveled at the composite body, It was amazing...I could go to the future with such a body?!
"Does it hurt?" I asked not really caring just preparing.
"Of course not, you'd be unconscious during the whole thing." She explained with a smile. "Though your not gonna be the only one with a composite body. Those kids you met also have one. Composite bodies are my creation of course, though if a composite body got in the wrong hand, the future would be...just like how this world was. Ruled by fear and judgement." She looked towards me. "That's why Shigeru, your pure of heart and even sacrificing yourself for your friends. You are truly are a amazing human being." I blushed and didn't know what to say. I was a disappointment to the everyone else, Though she saw me as amazing.
"Shigeru, now I need you to answer the question again, so I can make sure you're ready for this." She said seriously. "Do you want to go to the new world?"
"Yes! Oh course I do! I will do anything!" I yelled, this time with no hesitants, a smile crept on her face as she looked at me.
"Good...I will re-train you, though I can be harsh sometimes. Are you ready for that?"
"Yes, anything!" I yelled determined.

After that she retrained me in self defensive, how to use a gun, survival skills, hunting, and always write down any observation!
Though she was better than any of the others that teached us, she didn't punish us in the horrible ways they did to my friend. She told me- "It's okay to make mistake, but try to limit your mistakes." She always taught the kids with me too.
Though....to bad it didn't last as long as I wanted it too. One day I asked her if she was coming to the future and she said she wasn't, I kept trying to ask her why but she didn't talk.
Then the follow week she started passing out, coughing out blood, sleeping in more, she could barely stand...
Though she did the replacement with my body and the Compostite body.
I felt normal...but very weird at the same time, I was cold but it didn't affect me at all.
It was a normal day, nothing out of the ordinary. Until a green smoke flooded the play room causing us to the pass out, that's all I remember.
She put us all in cryo-sleep...
