Being a damn celebrity was so hard, so fuckin hard! People thought that it was the best like anyone could ever have but it's not. Meets and Greets, Award Shows, Interviews, paparazzi, fans who are ready to die for you, and, the worst of all, management.
To a common man, living the celebrity life meant that you could do whatever you wanted, buy whatever you wanted, and just live life the way you wanted to. Mate, you're wrong. Living the celebrity life, you lose everything. Your freedom of speech or expression, your privacy, everything.
Sighing, Zayn looked at himself one last time in the mirror, thanking Lou Teasdale for making such a plain but eye – catching suit.
He turned to Lou and said, "Thank you, Lou. The suit fits very well and it's amazing!" In response, Lou smiled at him and reminded him that he was getting late for the Music Awards show.
Zayn quickly left his huge house and ran to his car where the driver was waiting patiently, listening to some radio.
"Ready to go, sir?" The driver nodded and Zayn just nodded as he got into the car.
The venue for the award show wasn't too far and took barely twenty minutes for Zayn to reach. As soon as he got out of the car, the red carpet was laid perfectly, as if waiting just for his entrance. On both sides, there were screaming fans and paparazzi and officials that helped him get through.
Zayn stopped near some fans and autographed some pictures of him or his album, Mind Of Mine. He took some pictures with the fans and listened to them tell him how his music and he saved their life and Zayn couldn't help but hug them tight, remembering when he was at that place.
Zayn posed for some pictures, some with a serious face, some with his famous smolder face, some with a funny face and some with his extremely famous smile.
Zayn met other artists as well, like his favorite band, 5 Seconds Of Summer, or artists like Ed Sheeran and Justin Beiber – who he does not like at all – and so many more.
Eventually, the officials led him to his seat in the third row and near the center, in between two artists he didn't recognize.
The artist on his right had brown hair, quiffed up and wore a blue suit. The artist seemed to be really chatty and spoke to almost everyone who passed by. He had a loud laugh and an Irish accent, making it clear that he wasn't from America.
The artist on his left, had light brown hair. Some part of his hair were standing and the other part of it was sweeper sexily across his forehead. The artist wore a black blazer but a white t – shirt inside. He seemed chatty as well but not as much as the other one. His left hand had a tattoo on his ring and middle finger. The number '28'was tattooed and Zayn felt curious as to why that particular number.
The award show had started with the host, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas cracking some jokes and explaining the categories.
"Hey, I'm Louis Tomlinson." The artist on Zayn's left said.
Zayn looked at him for a second while he stared back and noticed that he had the bluest eyes he had ever seen. "I'm Zayn."
"That's your stage name, isn't it? Zayn in full caps?"
Zayn nodded and said, "Yeah. Zayn Malik is my full name,"
Louis nodded for a second and said, "I like your name,"
Zayn laughed and said, "Thanks,"
Louis and Zayn chatted the entire time during the show. They made fun of people's dresses and clapped and hooted for the artists who they thought deserved the award and smiled and posed together when the cameraman took a picture of them. They cheered when the other got nominated or won an award and booed for all the ones who didn't win but deserved to.
