Niall's POV

Alyson stared at the 3 guns in the drawer, her face expressionless. She picked one up with her hands, stroking it in her hands.

"Allyson," I called "Allyson!" she wouldn't listen. I walked towards her cautiously. She wasn't saying anything. Her eyes no longer filled with confusion like they always did. They seemed cloudy, like she was in her own world, and nobody could get her out.

Allyson's POV

When I saw those guns, I wanted to scream. But I couldn't. I couldn't move. I failed to speak. My throat was dry, and my hands clammy. I felt like I was slipping out of consciousness, but seeing everything around me.

BEGINNING OF FLASHBACK

I heard gunshots, yelling and laughing. There was another woman there. She looked like me, but older. There was a grown man and standing next to him, a young man who was a spitting image of him. We were running across the road, to the nearest town. I tripped and dropped my gun, lagging behind. I heard someone calling my name. The woman. I got off my feet leaving my gun behind. A truck was approaching, honking its horn, yet it showed no sign of slowing down. My ears were ringing, my head throbbing. A pain shot up through my ankle telling me it was hurt. I limped across the street kicking my gun into the bushes. The three other people were waiting on the other side calling my name. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't.

The truck was coming closer, I started limping faster, picking up the pace sweat heavily pouring down my face, stinging my eyes Just then, a car drove in front of the truck, flipping it as it almost flew towards me.

"Allyson!" the three called. The truck was closer now. And as I reached the end of the street, the head of the truck hit my forehead sending me backwards. I hit my head on the road, the trucks fires only a couple feet away.

"ALLYSON!!!" the boy called running towards me. I couldn't see anything but black.

But just because I can't see, doesn't mean I can't hear.

"she's dead" the man said through his sobs. The boy fell onto his knees cradling my head in his arms. Repeating my name between sobs.

"Patrick she's dead!" the woman screamed, breaking down into tears. But the boy just shook his head and repeated my name, barely audible in a whisper.

I couldn't move, I couldn't speak. I was slipping out of consciousness. The last thing I heard was the boy whispering my name.

"Allyson, Allyson........"

END OF FLASHBACK

"Allyson!"

I snapped out of my trance and turned around to look at the boys who were looking at me.

"are you....okay?" Niall asked. Shit. He probably thinks that I'm crazy. I nodded and slammed the drawer shut. I walked out of the room, pushing Liam and Zayn out of the way

"Allyson! What are you doing?" Liam called. I didn't answer, just pushes open the door, and climbed off the porch, walking back the way I came. Towards the road.

I looked over my shoulder, the boys were following me, calling my name. I turned back around and broke into a run towards the edge of the town. What happened to me? What was that hallucination? Who am I? I turned right, running out of breath. I was sprinting, the smell of fire and ash growing stronger.

I reached the edge of town, and walked onto the road. The marks of dried blood still visible. My blood. I looked to my right, where most of the ashes were, and ran towards it, not believing what I was seeing. I stopped and looked around me looking for it.

"Allyson...." Harry said sounding worried. I ignored him and ran towards the bushes, almost tripping over a hunk of metal.

A hunk of metal with a dent in it.

Shit.

As I got to the bushes, I began to go through them, through all the leaves and twigs, scratching my arms. I felt something cool, and metal deep inside the bushes. I scavenged through them trying to find it. There it was. A gun.

My gun.

Niall's POV

"Oh my god" I said, breaking the silence. Tears filled Allyson's eyes, falling down her cheeks. I wanted to comfort her, but I didn't have the guts to try. How did she know that there was a gun here? I shook my head, the wind blowing hard into my face. I looked behind me, Liam was looking down at his feet, and Louis was kicking some gravel on the ground. Harry was deep in thought, looking back at the town, and Zayn had his face in his hands, taking deep breaths.

There were so many questions I wanted to ask. How were we supposed to get home? What happened to Allyson. Who was she?

Only time will tell.
