Crowns Deception

Fire and Ice

I was now layered in white leggings with cuffed fur at the end, a red t-shirt with a vest made from silver that wrapped from my shoulders tightly around my waist making an 'x' shape on my body, and white gloves with velvet lacing. Also a fancy white fur cap, and my hair in a braided low bun. It was training time now, after clothing preparation. I walked down the hallway with Rose at my side, and other groups of girls behind and in front of us. 

"Rose, I'm nervous. I don't have a lot of training with my powers, I only started two months ago.." She patted my shoulder and smiled. "It's okay Y/n-ah, many girls here have never even wielded their magic until now. You'll do fine." I sigh and we walk outside. The crowd fell silent as people stepped outside. "Yah what ha-" Rose put a hand over my mouth and jumped excitedly. "Y/n-ah look it's the princes!" I give her a confused look then look up at the stands where friends and family sat to watch their children fight. I look all around then look forward to see a section jutting out as an overview, and sure enough, 7 boys and two kings and queens sat in the section. "Ah, nice." She squealed with the other girls around. "Oh my gods they're going to watch us fight!" Mumbling between girls began and the king quickly shushed us all. 

"First two up, Shu Nies and Lai Jaie." 

After multiple rounds of cheering and fighting between girls who were going as hard as they could to impress the king and princes, it was finally Rose's turn. "AHHH Y/N it's my turn!" I smile and give her a thumbs up. "You can do it Rose, I believe in you." She nods and walks out onto the snow cement and takes place. She was up against Jisoo, one of the Surpasi girls, and I was smiling just thinking about how this was about to go down. 

"GO JISOO!" Some red headed girl beside me screamed. I glared at her and she glared back. "GO ROSE YOU CAN DO IT!" I cheered and other girls started cheering with me. She ended up kicking Jisoo's ass to say at the least, and I was hyping her up as she came back. "Y/N AH DID YOU SEE JIMIN HE SMILED AT ME!" I laugh and we listen for the next fighter. "Yua Y/n and Sha Lea." My chest tightens. Why her of all people? "YEAH GO Y/N AH!" Rose cheers me on and pushes me. I nervously make my way to the middle and see my father in the stands giving me a harsh look. He expects me to win, oh god. 

"Ready, set, FIGHT!" Just as he said fight Lea lunges at me and I dodge her miss and spin around punching her shoulder. We were allowed to use our powers but not until the king announced we could. Lea turns around and punches me in the jaw, catching me off guard. As I fall down and she goes to go down for me, I take my leg and kick her foot, knocking her off her feet. "YOU BITCH!" She yells, and I stand up as quick as I could, jumping on top of Lea and punching her in the face. I could tell we both had something in common, we both loved fighting dirty. I don't know what came across me but it was like out of nowhere I knew every move to do in a matter of seconds. Lea wraps her arm around my leg and pulls it making me fall back. She took the opportunity to stand up and attempt to get on to me but I roll out before she could. I stand up and she goes in to punch me, but I grab her wrist and twist her arm behind her and kicked her lower back, pushing her away. Cheers could be heard from all over the stadium for both of us, and I had never felt so powerful in my life. She runs up behind me and pulls me into a headlock, and I struggled for a second, before wrapping my arm around her thigh and rollover, basically doing an ariel over her back to get back in my own control. I grab her hair, pulling her back and she turns around, and punches me in the gut. I lose my breath and she starts nagging. "God would you shut up!?" As I say that I punch her straight in the mouth and she falls backward. "You may use your powers now" The kings voice boomed above us, and I don't know how but the cheering got louder. Suddenly fire appears in Lea's hand and she starts throwing literal balls of fire at me. 

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I breathlessly laugh and start to focus on me. I knew she didn't have ice powers so I knew it was her weakness. Since I'm used to the cold and use it as one of my main powers, my shoes had little spikes on the bottom to help me move across ice easily. I reach out my hands and make a circling motion around my waist, and the arena fighting area became an ice rink. If I can tire her out, I can easily defeat her. Lea throws her head back and laughs. "What's this little ice princess? Are you going to skate your way out of this?" I just smile and say "No" She quickly unfreezes the ice with her fire powers and as she's doing it I take the chance to lunge at her stomach and take her out. She falls over as I jump on to her and she yanks out my hair. "Real smooth ice princess, now I'm going to kill you." I look up, still smiling at her. "You're going to have to catch me first." 

She gives me an angry look and I touch the ground beside us, freezing the ground once more. She looks at the ice and sets her hand down to unfreeze it and I slip out from her grip, creating an icy arch. I climb up to it and wait for her to come after me. She falls right into my trap and comes after me. I quickly make an ice pillar directly in front of the ark as she climbs up, and uses her fire powers to break the ark. Just as she comes in front of me, I reach my hands outward and create a massive ice ball, and push it her way with full force. It knocks right into her, taking her out. She slams into the ice pillar I made and she slides back down to the ground. I then create a fire ball and melt the rest of the ark, and as I fell I used my nature powers, creating a pile of moss below me to brace my landing. I land and make my way over to Lea, who had a bloody nose and bruised knuckles from us fighting, and was still sitting with her head down looking literally lifeless. I stop in front of her and she looks up at me. She glares at me and mutters "I accept defeat." "What was that Lea? I can't hear you?" I smirk at her and she scoffs.

 "I ACCEPT DEFEAT" She yells out and people start cheering again. I look up at my dad smiling, and he was smiling back at me. He points upwards behind me and I give him a confused look. I turn around and look up, seeing the Kings and Queens smiling at me and the princes in awe. They were all looking at me, and a few started smiling at me. I felt proud and happy, and turn around to go back in the crowd. Girls were glaring and gaping at me, and I just smile. As I step off of the platform, my head exploded with pain. "Woah, I don't feel so good.." I murmur to myself. The man who called out names looked at me and walks up. "Miss Yua, Are you okay?" I nod at him "Yea I'm fine I'm just-" Suddenly everything went black and I fell down.
