"You can't be serious Melody. You almost had a heart attack because Marcus asked you for a pencil." I said trying to contain my laughter. You see my best friend Melody is here in the nurses' office at our school beacuse she fainted. The reason why she fainted is even funnier. You see Mel has a major crush on Marcus. We've known him since sixth grade. He has no idea about this crush even though he talks to me like everyday. He promptly freaked out when Mel fainted. I mean come on who fiants like that, all because of a pencil.

"Stop laughing. It's not funny. You suck Eve. Seriously, now he's going to think I'm a dork or something. There goes my sophmore year down the drain because of this." She declared. If you haven't noticed Mel is a little Melodramatic. Last month she spilled her ice cream on her shirt, and it was the end of the world.

"Okay okay I'm sorry. Anyway, I have to go. My mom wants me home. It's my turn to help with dinner." I said. I quickly hugged her goodbye, and headed out the door. Sadly, my dad and oldest brother are at work, and my other brother and sister have some after school program to do, so I have to walk all the way home all by myslef.

I started my twenty minute walk to my house peacefully. About halfway there I started to feel uncomfortable. The block seemed starngely empty for this time of the day. My heart dropped when I heard screeching tires. I whirled around to see what happened when I came face to face with a guy dressed in all black. He wrapped his arms around my waist and hoisted me up and over his shoulder.I did the first thing any girl would do. I started kicking and screaming for him to let me go. He ignored my protests and threw me into his black hummer. I hit the back seat with a thud. Scrambling up I started to head for the door when I'm grabbed once again by a second guy. he grabbed me by the waist and covred my nose and mouth with a cloth. I strated to black out. The last thing I heard was...........

"NIghty... Night... Princess"
