Yoongi is asleep in a large tank of water, unbothered by Jin and Namjoon arguing in the background. Meanwhile Jungkook is sitting in front of the tank, silently watching the cecaelia sleep.

He likes the octopus-man. He's pretty and cool. If only the elder could be a little nicer, they'd be great friends. Especially now since he's no longer a prince, despite Namjoon still calling him that.

He can come over whenever.

Also today he had for the very first time seen what Yoongi wanted the dragon pearl for. He had been a merman, the pearl made him shape shift. Jungkook didn't like it. He liked the tentacles better but when he had voiced his opinion Yoongi had told him to shut up.

Which he did.

He softly taps the glass, wondering whether the man is comfortable or not. Considering he lives in a cave this can't be much worse.

Looking at the tentacles his eyes widen a little. In the bright lights of Jin's home he can see scars all over the tentacles.

"o-oh." He stammers, softly rising to his feet before reaching in the tank and taking out a tentacle to look at it.

"What are you doing?" Yoongi asks annoyed, awakened by the touch.

"Y-you have scars." He says, tears welling in his eyes. Only for the cecaelia to snort and climb out of the tank, legs appearing as he walks upstairs, grumbling mean things about poor Jungkook.

With Yoongi gone he finally turns to Jin's and Namjoon's argument, realising it's about him. Apparently Jin wants to do research on him and Namjoon won't let him.

"Jin can research me!" He says happily, eyes squinted as he smiles.

"No he can't—"

"Shush, the boy said yes." The wizards grins smugly, grabbing the boy and throwing him in the tank, much to Jungkook's surprise.

Namjoon sighs. "Whatever I'm going to eat your human food."

But Jin is too busy writing all sorts of things down as Jungkook rips out of his pants to make his tail appear.

"Interesting, interesting. Purple tail." He mutters before reaching in the tank and snatching the boy's hand, making a deep cut only for the boy to cry out.

"Don't cry." He demands and Jungkook immediately stops, allowing the water to heal him.

"You always had that healing stuff?" He asks, looking up from his note book. The boy nods.

"Let's see how severe the wounds can get." Before Jungkook can protests the wizard has jammed the knife into his tail making him cry all over again.

"Don't cry!" Jin says, almost sounding annoyed.

"B-but it hurts!"

"For fuck sake Jin, you absolutely lunatic. Testing hour is over." Namjoon says, taking out the knife and letting the boy heal before helping him out of the tank.

Jin frowns. "Take of your shirt Joon."

"No, Jimin would kill me if we did stuff."

"Don't be disgusting just take of your shirt." The wizards growls before ripping it off the mermaids body.

"Yoongi said he hit you, said it left a nasty bruise. But I don't see no bruise." He starts writing again.

"Your little mermaid boy toy can heal others too, how interesting."

"Don't call him my boy toy and no more stabbing."

Jin frowns. "Not even a little?"
