Untitled Part 2

The thunderstorm strikes almost hit the tree I’m in. it startled me. I almost fell luckily I do this a lot. It gets boring at home parents fighting, my brother going crazy, so I do this every night to get away from it all.

My curiosity, it always gets the better of me. I want to go higher see the night sky with the beautiful shining stars twinkling like a disco ball. I’ve never done this, gone this high but this night feels, different. Branch by branch just focus don’t think about any thing else. I look at the next branch it was an old branch if I touch it, it would break. This is as high as I will go. It looks beautiful I don’t have a care in the world except for the sparkling night sky. I wanted to go higher I want to take the risk, screw it let’s go, I grab the branch I can already feel it cracking in my hand, I grasp it harder then I stop, “ I don’t want to die tonight”. I sit on the branch looking across the trees, the beautiful green. I want to stay here and not worry about anything anymore. “The sun coming up I better get back”.

 I never get any sleep anymore but I don’t have to worry I’m homeschooled but my parents aren’t really good at it. So I’m bit dumb I learn most things off the Internet but most of the time it’s not true. The only real thing I know is nature, if your going out the woods you got to know some things. I know where to find food when I’m hungry, I’ve learnt to hunt and some other key things to. I’m walking back cautiously. When something catches my eye a glowing green light and it’s moving so what does my stupid self do follow it. I’m trying to hide myself but then I started to bolt faster and faster then all of a sudden I ended up in an empty field then the glowing green light was on the other end. All I did was look then I built up the courage took a step then it took a step. Stop what your doing my mind said but I didn’t I refused. It did what ever I did I side step it side step I spin around it spin around. So I walked up to it without stopping stop in front of it I thought of E.T, I touched it.

 My mind goes blank then I wake up in middle of the field and the sun is in the middle of the sky  “oh no, no, it’s the middle of the day I gotta get back home, mum is going to kill me”

I ran back home slammed the door and my mum is on the phone she said, “never mind he just came back”.

 “Mum I” She cut me off and yelled, “ Xavier Rodriguez where have you been! I been worried sick the police have been looking for you”. Her voice is booming now I’m afraid, “ were you out in the woods again you know it’s dangerous out there”, then she starts yelling in Spanish I have no idea what she is saying then she says, “I’m worried about you”, and starts crying and breaking into million pieces. At this moment I knew I had to be completely honest. “Mum I’m going to tell you the truth”.
