The rainforest dragonets

Teal's POV

"Goodbye,dad."Teal said as he snatched Deathbringer's favourite chakram ,the one in which him and Glory were engraved. He then quickly ran to Great-grandma Grandeur's hut.

That was the thing. Since Glory was busy with running the kingdom and Deathbringer with protecting her,they would almost always leave him with Grandeur or Kinkajou,who was living on the other side of the rainforest.

So,he mostly lived with Grandeur.

But before he could get to her hut, he was pinned to the ground by Deathbringer.

"Woof!"Deathbringer said,"that took longer than it usually takes."

"You caught me as soon as I flew"Teal said,"so it didn't take long."

"Well I am going to take you to the hatchery for stealing my chakram."

"No!no! anything but that!"

"Sorry"Deathbringer said and began flying him through a dark space.

Suddenly Deathbringer was knocked out of the sky. Teal spotted black scales and a barbed tail and immediately understood who it was.

"Sandstorm! Don't do that! Please!"he said.

"Shush! I am saving you!"she said.

It was really strange how her and her twin brother's powers worked. Sandstorm had the power to teleport between dark places and her twin brother, Starstorm,who had the body of a SandWing and the scales of a NightWing,had the power to make dark places. The two were a duo.

"It was also really strange how everyone thought that he had a crush on Sandstorm. She was like his sister. He didn't think of her like that.

"Come on! quick!"Sandstorm said. She pulled him and concentrated.

There was a quick whoosh and a moment later he was standing in front of Moon and Qibli's hut.

His best friend, Starstorm was sitting in his talon-made hammock.

"Oh,Hello"he said. "Come inside. Aunt Kinkajou and her family have come for a visit."

As Teal went with them, he noticed something moving under the water.

Probably a fish

But he had no idea that there was someone there.

Someone with dark plans...
