I wake up.My audburn hair falls over my shoulders as i sit up. As i open my grey eyes I yawn, taking in as much air as i can.The thing that i was questioning was, where was my sister?Shes usually the one to wake me up now i woke up an hour past time.I jump out of bed and run to my dresser.I pull out a green shirt and a jean jacket vest. My pants are sweat pants and i pull some black tennis shoes out of my closet. The bathroom,as usual, smells like my dad since he gets up and spends most of his morning in there. As i pull my pink unicorn pajamas off i wonder why i'm still wearing them, since they don't fit and i got them when i was 14.I pull my hair past my ears and into a low ponytail. After doing my bathroom duties,i still don't hear my sister, only because she sings while she eats breakfast.

The kitchen is silent and empty,i feel as if i'm the only one in the house. My sisters name is leslie but i call her liz, people don't understand how i gave her a nickname. id say im different but most people would say;stupid, retarded, and unintelligent.Thats only because i have grey eyes. The world now is different, there are two groups of people aside from boys and girls. Those two groups are the green eyed and the grey eyed. The green eyed people have bright personalities and emotions they are smart talented and special. All green eyed people have one power, and that power can range from drawings coming to life to flying.

The grey eyed people are the opposite of the green eyed. I myself is a grey eyed person but i dont say that,i say that i am a green on the inside. The grey eyed people don't get a power they don't have feelings or emotions they aren't smart and forget a lot of things, except me. I dont forget things yeah im not good at school but i'm not stupid. I never really knew who i was inside,i of course, have to pretend to be a grey eyed in public. My parents found out i was like a green eyed at the age of three, i was running about the house screaming gibberish. I never really knew why i'm grey eyed since my whole family is green eyed, except my grandpa who was alive 30 years ago.

The milk on the table is spilt and the cereal is half in a bowl and half not. The thing that surprised me the most was the door was wide open and i was poring. My sister would never go out in the rain without her umbrella witch was sitting on the floor next to the closet.”leslie?” i said quietly. She probably forgot her umbrella or is still sleeping, she did stay up till 10:00 doing homework with me. So i cleaned up the table and left for the bus stop.

When i got to the bus stop i noticed only 6 out of 11 kids came today. That was strange because one thing the grey eyed do is obey their parents and they always make their kid go to school.I line up behind the girl who always bullies me at school. She has blonde hair that reached the bottom of her shoulder blades, that stick out like knives. Green eyes and almost white skin. She turns around, she is 2 feet away from me and the person on front of her.Thats the way it is people like their personal space. Her name is alice.”Hey grey” she said in her sassy tone.” I bet you didn't finish your 20 page assignment.I mean if you did your parents probably did it.” she smirked. I didn't respond. Then her smile faded”are you ignoring me” she scowled at me.”because no one ignores me!”.She was mad now,”look” i said” i did finish it and my parents didn't do it.” i didn't put any emotion or expressions in that sentence. she laughed “ regular greys, always lying” she turned around as the bus pulled up.

The bus driver opened the door to the white metalic bus. Inside the seats were comforted with soft cushions and air conditioning. The bus isn't usually full but today it was. I was the last one on and still no sign of my sister. The only seat left was next to alice,we locked eyes and she smiled a creepy grin that made me shiver. When i sat down next to alice i sat at the end,the farthest away from her.The whole bus ride alice was pushing me off the seat.

At school i met my friend elizabeth by the big poster that said”Don't forget to turn your homework in greys! And greens good job!”  The school doesn't really like the greys being in this school since it was just designed for greens. Then the parents of the greys protested and won. I leaned up against the poster like elizabeth and said,”how was your day mine was OK” in a still voice. She responded”fine,..You?” I sighed.she forgot i was the first to ask.The bell rang and all the kids shuffled to class.
