Andreas POV:

"Can you go and grab the dishes from over there we need two people on dishes!" My boss Mary-Ann said "sure." I gave her a toothless smile and walked across the diner and to the bucket of dirty dishes. I walked back to the 3 deep sinks full of water and soap "need help?" Cole asked me as I went to set the grey bucket down "oh, thanks but I think I can handle it.." I said setting it down "so how old are you again?" cole said looking at me, of course we were the two lucky ones stuck on dishes "I'm 15 what about you?" I asked him lifting one of my eyebrows "I'm 16, I just turned 16 about a month ago." he said "oh that's nice, I'll be 16 in about 4 months!" I laughed then realized I just laughed at my own joke and made a self note not to do that when there is a guy around. Cole turned and continued at his dishes grabbing a small desert plate and putting it on the drying rack "do you want to take a break in about ten minutes?" Cole asked politely "uh sure if I'm aloud.." I said not wanting to overstep my boundaries "oh it won't be
A problem Mary-Ann is pretty chill, oh and we get free food.. didn't know if you knew that." he shrugged walking over to the big hot grill. "oh okay." was all I said and finished up the last few dishes.

I turned around and the smell of a hamburger lingered in front of my nose I looked across the room and saw Cole making a cheeseburger; his strong arms flipping the juicy patty and his delicate fingers slathering butter on his bun and strong hand cutting cheese and him putting everything else he desired on his burger, I turned away looking at the soup and salad wondering what I should fill my body with. don't get me wrong I love burgers but they aren't always the healthiest choice.. some soups aren't even a healthy choice sometimes I decided to fill my body with good and look like a model all at once and decided I'd have a yummy salad. I grabbed a plate and started making my salad, lettuce, chicken, croutons, parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. "you ready?" Cole asked "yep."

"Alright guys I think that's all I need of you guys today!" Mary-Ann said
After I said okay good bye and thank you I checked my phone and I had 2 new messages the first was from my friend Mellissa one of my best friends asking if I wanted to hang out and another from my mom saying that my family had to go to the city for the day. "what are you doing today?" I heard a voice behind me that seem slightly familiar, I turned around and there was Cole his blonde hair falling over his eyes and his blue shirt making his blue eyes pop "uh well apparently my family abandoned me so probably nothing.." I said shrugging and grabbing my purse "oh, well I'm just going to Craze wanna come?" He asked Craze was a local video game store were teens around town normally hung out but I normally avoided, because I don't usually want to be social and people just stand around and judge you. I so badly wanted to say no and just go home and eat chips and watch netflix but I also really wanted to make new friends, I reluctantly said yes. We walked out of the diner and started walking down the gravel back alley towards Craze. I pulled out my phone and replied with ok to my parents but I ignored Mellisa she was being really rude lately and I'm tired of taking all her rude comments but it's not like I can stop talking to her our parents are like best friends, and we grew up with each other. "have you ever been here before?" Cole asked as we walked up the side of the long grey building "a few times but I don't normally go here." I said shrugging "oh cool.." he said as we walked up to the door I noticed that the sign was red not blue and CLOSED was written across it there was a orange paper underneath the sign that read 'sorry were closed for renovations we will reopen on Aug. 29th sorry for an inconvenience!' "Well that sucks." Cole said lightly "yeah, do you wanna go do something else?" I asked "I don't know what there is to do." I didn't know what to say to him as I usually get awkward. just then my phone rang I grabbed it the black case looking old "hello?" I said into the phone wondering who it was I hated talking on the phone "hello, Andrea?" It was Mellisa. "oh hey.." I said back to her "did you get my message?" She asked "uh, yeah just got it." I lied "ok so do you want hang out?" She asked again I didn't want to be rude so I said yes. "uh so my friend Mellisa wants to hangout... want to come?" I asked Cole hesitantly I wanted to add 'you don't have to come' but I thought it would be pushy "yeah sure I guess, are we walking?" He asked me "yeah I guess.." I turned to start walking towards Mellisa's house which was 2 blocks away from mine.

"This street coming up is mine." I said breaking the silence "oh cool." he said smiling just then out of the corner of my eye I saw my parents pull up to our house and u quickly walked past and onto the next street when I got a text from my mom, 'hey where are you?' It said 'walking to Mellissa's.' I said 'come home soon we need to talk' she said and I didn't reply.

As soon as we got to Melissa's street she was at the end of it ready to go "hey." she said "hey.." I replied "well I'm going to go now.." Cole said before turning and walking away I said bye and then he was gone. "so, who's he?" Mellissa turned and looked at me "he's a guy from work he lives around here so he walked with me." I said "oh I see."

About 2 hours later after we had went shopping and to the coffee shop I decided to go home while Mellissa went home also "bye!" Mellissa yelled as she waved then turned and walked down the road "bye.." I said and walked to my house down the warm concrete and across the tall grass and up to the stairs that lead into my house "hello?" I called "stop yelling." I heard my brother Jason say "what's wrong?" I asked hearing the annoyance in his voice I took my coat and flats off "why do you think there is something wrong?" He snapped back "you seem mad." I said before walking into the kitchen where he was sitting watching the tv in the living room across the house. "Fine, if you must know Katie was suppose to come over but he cancelled like last week." he said turning and putting the peanut butter away he must've made a sandwich with, Katie was Jason's girlfriend. "okay, you're just mad because your girlfriend couldn't come over?" I asked rolling my blue eyes "no, I think she's cheating on me.. but I don't know maybe I should break up with here she is kinda a slut so.." Jason said I wasn't denying what he said but I knew the real reason he wanted to break up with her, he wanted to keep his bad boy reputation and not be a broken hearted homeschooled cheated on loser. if I was him I would break up with her, but he really likes her I think this is the longest relationship he's been in. "I don't know I could find out?" I asked I was good at getting the truth out of people. "would you? Just don't let her know I told you too though." he said looking at me his dark hair falling over his light blue eyes and his lips slightly parted "yeah i guess I could and don't worry I won't." I said "thanks oh mom wants you in her room." Jason said "okay." I said turning to go up the twirly wooden stairs I walked down the hallway and to the last room on the right "mom?" I said as I walked into her room "hey honey how was work?" She asked "good good." I said "you wanted to talk to me?" I asked "yeah.. who was that guy you were with?" She asked "oh him he was just a guy from work we got off at the same time so we ended up walking the same way." I said "oh okay but listen I don't want you ever alone with a guy." she said "mom, I'm 15 though.." I said "I know I know but I don't care it's my rule." I rolled my eyes and left I walked down the hallway back to my room and sat on my bed I groaned and grabbed my MacBook off my nightstand and turned on netflix today is just one of those days.. I looked at my clock and it just struck 5:00 PM I guess dad was still barbecuing I could smell the pork chops. I snuggled into my blanket and turned on pretty little liars. today is going to be a could day.
