Prologue

        George Bernard Shaw once said,"There are two tragedies in life. One is to lose your heart's desire.The other is to gain it." Yes, losing your heart's desire is tragic but gaining it, I wouldn't take that back for the world. Being loved and having the chance to love is something that anyone can hope for. It might have caused my heart immense pain, but I learned something. My whole life I have pushed people away to keep them safe, to keep my heart safe. Not anymore, no, I have learned in order to be happy, I have to be selfish. Selfish in love. When you love someone you're letting someone hold your heart in their hands and they are capable of crushing it. Fear, don't let it dictate your heart. Every love story always seem so perfect. Like a fairytale, but that is not reality. Not every love story has a happy ending, but you can't dwell over what might happen but what is happening because when they are gone all you can think is what if. Most love stories have sad endings and this is my story.
