Oh goodness, how do I save myself here .snap , snap , snap !

When I picked my head back up , I met two beautiful eyes furrowed at the brows , he had a deep smile , as though saying ' is she okay '

Gosh , come on brain , give me something ... I honestly think it's been about 7 minutes just standing here trying not to look into his eyes .

Not helping!

" Umm , I don't know you ?" Was that even a question , " aghh , what are you doing here." I tried to be as stern as I can possibly be right now .

" I mean , I really have never seen you and now I'm seeing you here for the second time ."

" err hi." He said amusedly

Is that all he's gonna say after I spewed so much , mostly embarrassing attempt try and break the ice.

"I'm Malach, Malach Bari." He took a long paused , which I failed to have the patience for.

"How come I don't know you , I know literally everyone here." I took a breath " I mean it's a small town , like really small." Great ? Now I'm just gonna run my mouth . Fantastic.

"You have a mouthful , Beautiful ." He said , he had a permanent amused look on his face since he stood in front of me .. and like it's a big deal , I couldn't help hearing the word beautiful replay in my head.

My eyes better not betray me , I looked inside , as though trying to find something with my eyes, but I knew all too well I was trying to avoid eye contact.

"I'm sort of new here , well precisely, I left when I was still younger , and I just returned recently."

" Oh ! So you are possibly Barih as in Uncle Tom?" I enquired

"Ahh yes , that's spot on ." He smiled wider , creasing the corners of his eyes , which put a glowing light on his freckles . " that , is my father"

"Ohh ! Oh-Kay" I said with a bit of pull back in my voice , which he immediately noticed , and I could see the alarm in his face .

"Anything wrong?" He asked his smile faded .

No , no ... I just , it's nothing , I can't believe I don't know you ."  Not entirely true .I know , that his and my father used to be the best of friends at some point .

"Can I come in now that I'm not a total stranger."his smile came back with a smirk.

Do I let him in ? ... dang it .

I battled in my mind for a bit , until I caved ... and simply opened the door wider .

He was scanning the room . The room was white with a floor to ceiling glass , on the side that has the grand mountain top view , it was so beautiful, well for the mountain lover in me , it was perfection... inside it just filled with my little projects.

The big bed couch I made out of pallets painted black, with a  white covered mattress and big fluffy white pillows .

He sat on there , so comfortable like he's been here a thousand times ... I was not used to his ability to be comfortable in an unfamiliar space, but I felt a warmth in my heart on seeing how comfortable he is around me ... way too soon but I wouldn't have it any other way

Who are you girl ! What did you do to the tough cookie nzuri .

( he called you beautiful- nzuri. )

" I need to get something outside real quick." I didn't wait for his response and quickly stormed outside .

I immediately face palmed myself . "Gosh , sis . Stop okay"

I stared out into the open . Down the beautiful landscape before my eyes . I always envision it as my soul , green and luscious, calm and cool . It's like meditation.

I was already feeling a bit calm . I heard faint footsteps . I knew it was him .

He came closer . " hey , I don't mean to pry in your space , I just came to make sure the air is clear , you know- bury the hatchet ." He was now standing side by side with me , and he put his hands in his pockets . " I'm really sorry , I meant no disrespect to your space , I thought it was abandoned or something . I realized later on that it's too perfect to be left laying around. Hence I came back the next day to fix my mess ."

It's okay , I forgive you , mister ." He laughed.

"You clean up great by the way ." He smirked

"I wouldn't say that if I were you ." I said ,threatening him

"Sorry ." He chuckles " keep the name , I think I'm more satisfied with beautiful." He looked down the hill .

"I hope to see you around , I have to run along now ." He took his hand and wrapped it round my shoulder, gave me a gentle squeeze and left .

"See you beautiful." He winked back at me at a far but visible distance.

I stood there for what could've been 30 minutes , just thinking about how unprepared I was . I didn't know I could be this speechless, or worse yet say so many unthought words - I just realized, I've never really liked a boy , until now.
