The Cafeteria

The bell for lunch came after hours of trying to figure out what song to sing on the roof top, alone.

I still haven't found a song that fits my voice and I'm pretty sure it's impossible to create a song by myself right now.

I walked down the corridors of the school, debating whether or not to go to lunch.
If I go, who would I sit with. I have just gone back to 'the girl who has no friends because she isn't exactly the nicest'

"Yo Y/N"

I turn to my side "oh hey Mark"

"Are you going to lunch?" He asked

"I don't know. I'm still thinking about it"

"Come on. Let's go together. I'll pay for your lunch if you don't have enough money." Mark put his arm around my shoulder.

"Mark, Y/N wait up" Renjun voice beamed from behind us.

He caught up to us, I said a small little hey as Renjun patted my head.

Renjun clung onto my arm "let's go get food. I heard they have ice cream for dessert."

"I swear if it's banana flavoured I would literally jump up and down." I said without realising.

Mark laughed "not banana but if it's vanilla that would be good"

Renjun tutted "Mark, you're so plain. No flavour at all"
Mark replied back with a little 'meh' as Renjun and I chuckled.
All three of us walked up to the full line of people waiting for food.
To pass time, Renjun started singing a Chinese song. His voice was so beautiful. He wasn't too loud but he was loud enough for the people around us to hear. I'm pretty sure the people behind us stopped talking just to hear him sing.

Finally it was our turn to grab some food. And Renjun was right, ice cream was for dessert but it was chocolate ice cream.

I got my food and walked down the cafeteria with Mark and Renjun behind me. We were walking to their spot all the way at the back when we all got stopped.

"Where do you think you're going?" Chan-hee's voice screamed throughout the cafeteria. Everyone started looking at us. She was standing in my way and I really wasn't in the mood to argue today.

"To sit down and eat. What else do people do in cafeterias"

"Don't give me sass. Who do you think you are." Chan-hee raised her voice even more. And people started to stand up from their seats to get a closer view of the commotion

"Just move Chan-hee. You're creating something that you probably would die from." Renjun said from behind me

Mark decided to add his two cents in "Honestly, we all know that this is all just talk. You're getting more and more annoying as times passes. I didn't even know that was possible."

Tears. Literally tears started to form in Chan-hee's eyes. "No. No. No. she took everything from me." She pointed at me. I was so done with her drama but she decided she had more to say. "She took my boyfriend, my friends, my life. Just my everything is gone and it's all because of YOU. It's you. It's all your fault that this is happening" I was confused and was about to talk back but she grabbed the nearest banana milk and poured it all over me.

The audience started 'oooing'. They were waiting for the next fight to happen

I looked down as the cold banana milk ran through my hair and my clothes.
I looked up quickly with killer eyes. I knew what my next move was.
