Chapter 17

Lloyd's p.o.v

It's been a three weeks since me and Morro married. And I'm happy, more so than I've ever been. Opening my eyes, I sit up to find Morro gone. Getting out of bed and pulling clothes on, I head to the dinning room for some breakfast.

Walking in, Kai and Cole give me a look. Sitting down, I sniff the air. Strange, not a hint of food. "Morro's grilling hot dogs and hamburgers out back. Garmadon and Daniel left to get some drinks. You know what time it is, Lloyd." Kai asks.

I look behind at the clock on the wall. Holy crap, eleven o'clock, the hell. Turning back to the two, Cole shakes his head. He reaches in his coat, pulling out an unmarked box. Placing it on the table, he slides it to me.

Picking it up, I look with a brow raised. "Go to the bathroom and follow the slip that's inside. Trust us, we know the signs quite well." Kai said. Getting up, I go to the bathroom.

Opening the box, two sticks fall out into my hands. Pregnancy sticks. "Is this a joke." I say, reading the instructions. Taking one, I do as they ask and wait ten minutes. After that time frame, I look at the stick. Two lines, reading the box, I step back. I do the other one and it's the same.

Closing the box, I stick them in my coat and leave. Walking in, Kai and Cole look at me. I shake my head and they sigh in relief. Arms wrap around me as Morro kisses my neck. "Food will be done in an hour love." He says.

I nod and pull away. "I have to deliver this cover to an author. They need it asap."I say, grabbing my book. "Kay love, hurry back." Morro said, kissing my cheek.

I drop off the cover, the man pays me seven hundred dollars for it and I head for the hospital. Walking in, the nurse behind the desk jumps up. "Green ninja, how may we help." She asks.

"I need a test done, privately please. Only I can know about this." I say. She cocks her head, leading me and doctor Miles to a room. "Blood test, I'm assuming." Miles says. "Yes, I'm a reproducing male, if you catch my drift." I tell hem.

Miles looks at me as he slides the needle into my elbow. His eyes light up "I'm assuming you want further confirmation." He asks, drawing blood. He hands it to the nurse and she runs out.

"Have you done at home tests." Miles asks. "Two, I have them with me but, like you said, I want further confirmation. Don't want to get my hopes up." I said as the nurse comes back in.

She holds a slip of paper "When was y'alls last night of activities." She asks. "We um....you know at least every night of not every other since our wedding five weeks ago." I said. Her smile says it all as she holds the paper out.

"Your three weeks along, congrats, Mr.Garmadon." she says as I take the paper and fold it. Slipping it in my pocket, I nod, pay the bill and leave. Coming back to the monastery, Morro greets me like always.

Come lunch, I discretely place the paper and tests under Morro's napkin. As we sit down and fix our food, Morro picks up his napkin and freezes.

Garmadon's p.o.v

I had started eatting when suddenly, Morro freezes. One by one, we all stop eatting and look. Lloyd looks at Morro. I look, a piece of paper where Morro's napkin was.

I fear the worst as Morro gulps. He picks up the paper, unfolding it. Two things clatter to the table, I recognize them. Tests sticks...wait...is Lloyd...
Morro reads the paper, he sets it down and looks Lloyd in the face.

"Please tell me this isn't a joke. If it is, I'll send you to meet your mother." Morro said. "You can call Miles, he was there." Lloyd said. I take the paper, reading it. "Everyone, I'm happy to announce the Garmadon family just got bigger." Lloyd says, resting his hands over his middle.

Everyone cheers, Kai and Cole the loudest. I get up, going to Lloyd and hug hem. "I love you son, and, I'll love grandchild just the same." I say. Lloyd smiles as Morro grabs his collar the tugs hem into a kiss.
