「Chapter 1」

Y/n POV (More background)

I am Y/n I'm in class 3-B and I'm not going to lie here I'm a dammed mess. I work hard with my three closest friends but no one recognizes me as they do to them. I'm not going to say it makes me jealous cause I love to see them happy but sometimes I see how it affects them. See I pay close attention to those close to me and I see how scared Tamaki is of everything how Mirio fears nothing and how Nejire always makes things more a party and just goes with the flow of Mirio. We're supposed to become pro-heroes soon yet I still can struggle with my quirk. I've been following instructions from Hawks but sometimes I don't think he understands. He doesn't understand the pain this quirk can put me through but he tries his best to help me everyone close to me does but the pain still lingers.

Writers POV

You're laying in bed procrastinating to get up and get ready for school, your thinking is 'I don't technically have to get up till my alarm goes off' but oh boy are you so wrong. Knocking comes from your dorm room door startling you slightly but reluctantly you get up and answer. There stood Nejier with a confused look plastered on her face. 

"Uhh Y/n~san I texted you fifteen minutes ago telling you were gonna get breakfast and you have to coooome!! So please get ready!!!" She walks in grabbing your clothes and handing them to you swiftly. 

"Wait wait wait I never agreed to go so why do I have to go?" You argue to her, though she doesn't listen and just pushes you into the bathroom. In a sigh of losing you change taking note to how you're body has been affected by training and fights on the street with Hawks when on patrol. Scars litter your body everywhere but it's a natural thing for the line of work you're in. 

Once completely changed and you put your hair up you leave the bathroom to find Nejire laying in your bed like a goofball.  You laugh at it softly and pull her up. 

"Soooo! Took you long enough!" She smiled brightly to you. "You are way too happy in the morning Nejire I swear" You roll your eyes smiling back as you both walk out. 

"So who's all going this time?" You look at her as you both walk down the hall to the stairs. 

"Just us and the boys like usually" She's probably said this sentence a thousand times before because each morning you ask the same thing. You never know anymore its always different in a different timeline and you've probably explained that a thousand times. As you were deep in thought you both approached Mirio and Tamaki. They look like they've been waiting for a while but that's normal for them at this point. 

"Finally! Let's go get food!" Mirio yelled slightly smiling energetically. 

"How the hell are you guys so energized?" You say slouching standing close to both Nejire and Mirio.  Tamaki looks at you, he looks almost afraid to say something to you but after a minute or so it was dismissed. 

You all walked down the road to a small cafe that's about a fifteen-minute walk from the school. So everyone talked and asked different questions to each other, most of which were a joke. 

"Y/n would you ever use your quirk for EVAIIL" Mirio yelled sounding like a child laughing. "The day I use my quirk for evil is the day I date you Mirio." You laughed and earned the laughter from Nejire. Tamaki just looked surprised at what you just said but it didn't surprise you. He usually acts like this with you, distant, you wish you two could be closer but you just didn't see it happening. 

"W-We're here g-guys," Tamaki said in a quiet tone smiling, because of that you couldn't help but smiles and walk in with everyone. 

~~~30 minutes later~~~

The group was walking back into the school and into the dorms to grab backpacks and hero suits to prepare for the actual school day. I walk out of my room to see Mirio waiting to walk to class with me like he usually does. 

"So what did you get at the cafe? You and Tamaki both were really secretive about it?" Mirio asked out f the blue as you both walked into the school building. "We were? I didn't even realize... but I got some cakes and pastries because I need something to keep up with you and Nejier." You giggle seeing him look confused. "I'm messing with you idiot" you playfully punch him causing him to become overdramatic and swoon in 'pain'. "Y/n~samaaa that huuurt" Mirio dragged on obviously messing around. "If a slight punch from a little girl hurts you how will you become a hero idiot?" You say smirking walking ahead of him. A bit after that he started to run after you but you weren't gonna lose that easy so you sprit off.  He was close to you but you were still ahead but I good foot, you then turned a corner trying to make a slip for him but it ended up backfiring on you and you ended up running into Tamaki. He started to blush and back up freaking out when Mirio turned the corner he though something else had happened based on his facial expression. 

"Tamaki, did it happen? Is that why you're red?" Mirio semi yelled to Tamaki shaking him violently as if Mirio needed answers but couldn't get them. 

"Did what happen Mirio, and mind you if you lie I will go to another timeline to find out." You asked Mirio stopping him from shaking Tamaki so violently. 

"Oh well you see- wait was that the bell we should head to class bye Tamaki!" Mirio cut himself changing the subject and pushing you into the classroom down the hall as if it were nothing.  "You changed that subject faster than me time hoping there Mirio why is that?" You look at him upset. "You know I thought he had asked out his crush turns out I was wrong!" Mirio smiles. Wait a crush? You started to think you've never seen a timeline where Tamaki isn't with this one weird glitchy girl.  "Who's his crush Mirio?" You asked him swiftly seeing if he'd answer. "No can do shorty I swore on everything I wouldn't tell a soul his crush!" Mirio said seriously so you didn't push on. "So any way you were really light when I pushed you back there you are eating properly correct." Mirio questions sounding very worried and concerned about you. "Yes, I've just lost weight since I started to work with Hawks you know this Mirio you big dope!" You rebel suggesting to him that he shouldn't bring it up to you again or he might get smacked. "Okay okay, I understand you know I'm just worried Y/n~sama!" Mirio says while beginning to sit in his seat as the teacher walks into the room beginning the lecture.
