The air was filled with pancake and coffee scent. It was the next morning, Sunday, when I found myself looking through the aisles for flour in the convenience store where I also bought soju. The cashier went on about a drunk lady accompanied by five men in business suit, I was certain that she was talking about me. My head was lowered as I paid and rushed out of the store, hoping she didn't recognise me. There was a hint of regret and embarrassment as I flipped the pancake I made for myself, reminiscing last night's events.

" No! Teddy bear stays with me and we will drink milk together! "

Johnny, Jaehyun, Taeyong, Doyoung, and Mark took me home while I was passed out from drinking too much, I knew I couldn't handle alcohol. Scenes flashed in my head, there was Mark who carried me all the way and Doyoung who gave me water. And of course me, who spat nonsense like a madman under the influence of alcohol. I was glad that none of them had the guts to change my clothes or else I would be blushing every time I meet them. I couldn't remember when they left so I was a little surprised when I woke up alone, feeling the need to apologize and thank them for the help they gave when I wasn't on the right mind.

It was in the afternoon when I prepared to go out for groceries. What a surprise, right? Who thought that my mind would take a week to change my opinion about grocery shopping. I wore a pink denim midi skirt, white chiffon blouse, and sneakers. My hair was clipped back neatly and I ditched make up, grabbing my purse and heading to the door. The subway wasn't packed like the usual but I got conscious of the looks some humans were throwing me. Just like the awkward person I was, I lowered my head and thought of the phone I left with the detectives.

The to-buy list that I made was saved in my phone so I headed to SM building to get it first. The guards welcomed me as I strolled inside, looking for the detectives. EXO department was filled with sleep-deprived fallen angels and it was obvious with the half assed greetings that I received. Detective Byun was surprised to see me in his office while he was busy discussing something with Sehun. They acknowledged my presence and handed over my phone.

" Luna, we already checked everything. Chanyeol hyung and our other team mates are currently looking for Im Shilseuk to make the arrest. Your attendance is needed during the trials but no worries, they are scheduled in accordance to your work. " Sehun said as he returned my laptop, not after Baekhyun said something.

" I hope this helps you sleep better at night, my lady. We are giving our all in this case. Stay safe! " if it isn't flirting, or its just my mind playing games. I felt like I owe them a lot so I had the urge to treat them to dinner at least.

" If you don't mind, how many of you are in this department? I just wanna know. "

" There are nine of us in total, five others are working on the arrest. Oh and after this Luna, can we take you out for dinner? "

" Please. We feel bad for not contacting you sooner and letting that Shilseuk guy get to you. " Baekhyun pleaded, I was blushing hard. Why do they have to be sweet? I am not accustomed to this at all. He had puppy eyes and I couldn't bring myself to reject the offer, besides their paycheque is higher than mine. I thought beings who work for the devil were assholes but its the total opposite, they were kinder than most angels that I work with. He got all jolly when I nodded and smiled sweetly, soon after, I was out the building and still red as tomato. I was not prepared for that, like at all.

My eyes scanned my list and turned to the bottle on my hands. The flavor I like ran out and I was stuck in choosing between chocolate and plain soy milk. I stood there with an almost full cart when I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned around. I blushed for the nth time when I came face to face with Doyoung. His face was too close that I instantly jumped in astonishment and Taeil coughed to get both of our attention. The two of them were in grocery duty for the week, I didn't know they do that weekly.
