"Jake! Time to go!" said my father.
I woke up, rubbing my hands against my face and around my eyes. I sat up on my bed, thinking about the day ahead. "Today, is the first day of high school" I thought. "And I have to make a good first impression"
I got out of bed and changed into a blue shirt and jeans. "Breakfast is ready!" called out my mother.
"Coming!" I yelled in return.
I grabbed my backpack and headed down stairs. I sided down the rail and got to the kitchen. "Stop doing that or your going to break your neck." said my mother, looking worried.
"It's okay Pepper." said my father, hugging my mother and looking at me.
"No it's not Tony." She said, as I sat down on the kitchen chair. "He can get seriously hurt."
I ate my breakfast, which was eggs and bacon. "No it's fine." I said, before I ate.
She looked at me with her blue eyes filled with anger and worry.
"Just kidding mother." I said, smiling and ate a piece of bacon.
"You better be." Mother said.
Once I finished, I got my skateboard and rode to school.

"Where have you been Jake?!" called out one of my best friends, Adam.
He was wearing gel on his light brown hair. His green eyes were filled anger and yet forgiveness. He was walking with my other best friend, Jacob. His blonde hair was messy and his hazel eyes filled with calmness. "I told you he would be here!" called out Jacob, as they were reaching toward me.
I got off my skateboard board and put it inside of my backpack. "Of course I would be here." I said, smiling at them.
"Next time call us the next time your going to be coming late to us. Okay?" said Adam.
"Okay Adam." I said, smiling as we went to class.
