Kirishima POV:
The four of us (we had brought Shiro. Technically not quite legal, but we couldn't leave her alone) woke up in Kat's apartment. The owner of the establishment (who didn't actually own the place but insisted it was his) was already up and cooking something in the kitchen. Where he got the energy from, I had no idea.
Shiro and I watched Denki intently as he blinked the sleep out of his eyes. There was the initial panic of not knowing where he was, but then seemed to remember the last thing he'd been awake for yesterday. "Holy cow. I actually did that, huh?" He dragged a hand down his face. "Where are we?"
"My apartment," Kat called from the kitchen.
"You mean your parents' place," I replied.
"It's mine in my heart," he shouted.
"When did we get here?" Denki asked, still a little disoriented.
"Mmm, sometime last night," I tapped my chin. "Kat and I sort of decided on the fly that since Shiro's parents would believe Inu over her that she definitely wasn't safe, so we may or may not have kidnapped her," I admitted.
"You did what? Ei, c'mon..." he facepalmed. "You know what? That's totally fair. I can't be mad. But how the heck are you planning on making this work?"
"Well..." I bit my lip. "Kat's gonna be eighteen in a few months. Then he can do some legal thing to adopt her, or become her guardian or something. I dunno how it works, but he says that he really does want to, and he means it."
"Really?" My face brightened. "That's great! But what are you gonna do until then?"
"We were thinking about talking to Aizawa about it. He might be able to do the same thing he did with Eri two years ago before he officially adopted her. We were waiting for you to wake up before we did, though, since that would involve telling him pretty much everything," I explained. "We wanted to make sure you were fine with him knowing. You were reluctant to tell us even after we dated for a year and a half, so we didn't know how to approach talking to our teacher about it."
He thought for a moment, looking between me and Shiro, then to the door to the kitchen where we could hear Kat shuffling about.
"He'd be a good dad. Guardian. Whatever he wants to call it," Denki said. "And Shiro does seem to like him. And on the topic of dads, Aizawa-sensei's been more of a dad than my biological one has ever been. That sounds sappy, but if I was gonna tell anyone else, it would be him."
I gave a small smile, then asked, "How's your head? You kinda got hit a lot over the past three days," I pointed out.
"Good point. I got hit by that door, then a book, then a clothing hanger, then a bottle... then I think Inu slammed my face into a table? I'm not dead, right? How?" he rambled. I blinked.
"I guess your memory's fine," I said. "But does anything like, hurt, or..."
"Besides everything? No, I'm fine," he shrugged, then perked up. "Smells good," he smiled.
I gently took his arm before he got up. "Are you sure, Denks? I mean it, if you feel like shit, that's fine," I said.
He paused. "Yeah. I guess you could say that I feel like shit. But I'm glad to be away from them for now, at least. Summer's sure to be hell, but I'm happy now."
I snorted. "Like we're letting you go back over summer. Besides, it's our last year at U.A. You won't even have to call them your parents again after this."
He grinned, then got up, pulling me with him. We went to the kitchen, and Shiro ran ahead of us up to Kat. She hugged his legs not waiting for him to crouch down for her. "Hey, Uncle Explosion Murder?" she asked, and Denki wheezed at the name. Kat just smirked and flicked his eyes down to show he'd heard her, but kept his attention mainly on ye food.
"Yeah, Commander of Doom?" he replied.
"Oh my gosh, they're so cute—" Denki was dying.
"What does 'shit' mean?" she asked innocently.
He paused and turned to glare at me. I smiled sheepishly. "EijirooOO—"
