Chapter 1: The Announcement

Gajeel’s POV:

I was just sitting there as I usually do at the guild, eating some bits and pieces of iron while everyone else was fighting and mucking around. “Ugh what a bunch of Idiots!” I thought to myself when my thoughts were interrupted by a little bluenette bundle of joy came running through the doors being chased by the other girls. She always found a way to make me smile, the way she ran, the way she got so into her books, the way she laughed and defiantly the way she smiles.

“oi Gajeel what are you thinking about?” said Natsu interrupting my thoughts. “Oh nothing Salamander” I replied as he gave me a look of confusion. Soon all the other guys came and joined us. I was now surrounded by my family Gray, Natsu, Romeo and Laxus. They were a bunch of idiots but when you need them they will be there for you so there good to be around.

“AHHHHHHHH” a little scream broke me out of my thoughts I turned my head quickly to see the little bluenette was rolling on the floor screaming as the rest of the girls were tickling her. ‘I didn’t know Shrimp was ticklish’ I thought to myself I felt my cheeks burning up as I thought about all the Shrimp has done for me like getting me accepted into the guild and forgiving me after I was so horrible to her she should hate me.

“ Gajeel are you ok?” a grumbly voice pulled me out of my thoughts I turned my head to see Laxus staring at me with a strange look on his face “ yea why?” I replied with a Questioning look.

“ You’re red” he said concerned, then I realised my face was burning up, I was so lost in my thoughts I didn’t realise I was blushing, “No No No I’m fine really” I replied.

Oh my Mavis, I hope none of them think I’m blushing.

Laxus’s POV  

I looked over to Gajeel and saw his face was red.

“Gajeel are you okay” all of a sudden the black spikey haired dragon slayer turned at me with a confused look on his face then I think he realised that his face was as scarlet as Erza’s hair. It was so obvious he was blushing but I think I was the only one that wasn’t stupid enough not to see it.

“No No No I’m fine really” he replied, his face was now 2 shades redder than Erza’s hair.

“Alright you Brats” Master said from standing on the 2nd floor so everyone could see him, “I have decided to send you all on holidays so you don’t destroy any more of the city while I catch up on the fines I have” “I have selected different resorts and have assigned certain people to certain resorts”

“OK the group of people going to the snow resort are Gray, Laxus, Natsu, Gajeel, Romeo, Erza, Juvia, Mirajane, Lissana, Lucy, and Levy, the rest of you can choose your resort because you cause less damage than these brats”

The whole Guild lit up and cheered at the fact they get a free holiday.

“You leave tomorrow morning so brats start packing” the master said bluntly.

“Wait we only have tonight to pack?” I hear Lucy scream from one end of the table.

Within 5 minutes everyone in the guild had left to pack for their holiday I was the last to leave or at least I think I was. I was about to leave the guild when a white haired bar maid leaps up from behind the counter and scared the living s*** out of me.

“HeHeHe I scared the big bad Laxus” she said in a cute almost childlike voice.

“what no, Scare me that’s funny” but I was even lying to myself, I turned around pretty quick with a massive smirk on my face and started laughing.

Mira’s POV

I knew he was still here, I mean how can I not notice him he is so handsome and charming, but I could never let him know I like him, I mean it would ruin our friendship and I don’t want that. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice him starting to leave, so I jumped up from behind the counter and tried to scare him.

I know it worked cause I could see him jump a little even if it was ever so slightly.

“HeHeHe I scared the big bad Laxus” I said in a playful voice.

“What no, Scare me that’s funny” he said trying to act all tough. He started turning around and I saw he had a massive smirk on his face but when it comes to Laxus you never know what his smirks mean, I mean his murderous smirk and his playing around smirk are almost the exact same. Out of nowhere he started laughing but like his smirk I never know what it means.

“What are you doing here this late?” I asked him

“I could ask you the same question” he said back in a top s*** sounding voice but OMG it was so cute.

“Well I just finished work” I replied in a sarcastic tone of voice.

“Well im about to head out you want to walk together?” he said with a hint on pink in his cheeks.

I knew he was blushing but I didn’t want to embarrass him even more so I just replied with “Yes I would love to” and went to grab my coat. But then I realised I had left my coat at home  because it was warm this morning.

I grabbed my keys and walked out to a waiting Laxus, we walked outside and I locked up the door but it wasn’t until I put the keys to the guild in my pocket I realised how cold it was outside. I walked next to the large dragon slayer trying to hide how cold I had become, but my little shiver had not gone unnoticed by the large ma standing beside me.

“you cold?” he asked in a blunt voice

“A little but I should be fine my house isn’t that faraway” I said but it wasn’t convincing enough for the dragon slayer, a few seconds later I found myself covered in a large coat that instantly warmed me up.

“Thanks” I said with a big smile on my face I probably looked like an idiot but I didn’t care. We walked in a comfortable silence for the rest of the way to my house but when we got there I unwrapped myself from his coat and instantly got cold again.

“I’ll see you tomorrow” I said still having a massive smile on my face, but he just grunted in response.
