The date was still August 9th, 2020. Angelica d'Aglior [Agitation], her boyfriend Ciel DuBlois, Stephanie Avery [Silent Voice], and her parents are driving to the new tea shop called Pray For The Tea, which opened about 2 and a half weeks ago.
Agitation: Trust me, Ciel. You'll like Melody.
Ciel: Let's hope she's just as sweet as you say she is.
When the family got to the tea shop, everyone got out.
Silent Voice: Wow. There's a giant neon sign with a teacup on it up top.
Agitation: That wasn't there last time.
Silent Voice: Melody must've had some customers.
Robert opened the door for everyone. Melody Sinclair [Sister's Mercy], the owner of the tea shop, saw them enter.
Sister's Mercy: Welcome to Pray For The Tea. Hey, I remember you.
Agitation: Yeah. I'm the girl that came here about 3 weeks ago.
Sister's Mercy: That's right. You even brought your parents again. How wonderful. And you came here with a couple new people as well.
Agitation: Oh yes. I guess introductions are in order. This is my sister Stephanie Avery.
Sister's Mercy: Nice to meet you, Stephanie.
Silent Voice: Pleasure's all mine.
Agitation: And this is Ciel DuBlois. My boyfriend.
Sister's Mercy: Wow. It's such an honor to meet the savior of Negi Root City.
Ciel: You...know about me?
Sister's Mercy: Oh, I have some customers that come here everyday since this place opened. And all they ever talk about is you. You're pretty much like a celebrity around here.
Ciel: Oh. (blushes a little) Thank you.
Sister's Mercy: Here, have a seat.
The family sat down at a booth.
Sister's Mercy: Now what would you guys like?
The family told her their orders and she left to fix them.
Silent Voice: Wow. She's really nice.
Agitation: Yeah. See, Ciel? Nothing to worry about.
Silent Voice: I see some over-protectiveness here, Angie.
Agitation: Hey, he has a right to be over-protective. I'm just as over-protective with him sometimes.
Melody came back with the family's orders.
Sister's Mercy: Here you go.
Ciel took a sip of his tea.
Ciel: Wow, Melody. You actually do make some good tea.
Sister's Mercy: Thanks, Ciel. You're really sweet.
Ciel: I sometimes make Angie's tea at home.
Sister's Mercy: Do you?
Agitation: It's true. He does. But he's more of a hot chocolate fan.
Sister's Mercy: I see. Not everyone likes tea. And I'm completely fine with that.
Agitation: Hey, Melody. Remember all those texts you gave me?
Sister's Mercy: Yeah.
Agitation: I think my family and I agree that it would be great if I have a job here.
Sister's Mercy: So, it's a yes?
Agitation: It's a yes.
Sister's Mercy: Oh that's wonderful!
Agitation: Besides, I have some ideas for this place.
Sister's Mercy: Yeah? Like what?
Agitation: Like we can serve not only tea, but other hot drinks like hot chocolate.
Sister's Mercy: Oh, I see. Because your boyfriend likes it.
Agitation: Yeah. He actually has a secret recipe that everyone here loves.
Sister's Mercy: Ooh! Maybe I'll take that into consideration. I can see it now. People coming here just to get warm on a cold winter day. I serve them either tea or hot chocolate, whatever they want.
Agitation: Yep.
Sister's Mercy: I like that idea.
Silent Voice: Hey, Melody? Is it okay if I come here everyday after school?
Sister's Mercy: Of course, Stephanie. What about you, Ciel?
Ciel: Oh, well, I'm homeschooled. But I always have a lot of free time.
Sister's Mercy: That's great. And I take it your parents also like the idea of you working here?
Robert: We'll support her decision.
Sister's Mercy: Awesome. I feel like this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Agitation: I agree.
And so, the family left the tea shop after finishing their tea.
Agitation: It would seem Melody wants your secret hot chocolate recipe, Ciel.
Ciel: Yep.
Agitation: So, you do want me to work here!
Ciel: Well, you're going to need a job whenever we get married.
Agitation: Who knows? Maybe we can both work with Melody. She'll need all the help she can get.
Ciel: I'll wait until I'm a little older though. When do you start working?
Agitation: Melody said next week. But school is starting around that week, too.
Silent Voice: Melody said you can come to work whenever you want.
Agitation: That's true. I can come at around 3 PM and still get the full pay even if I work for 2 hours.
Kelsey: And we can still drop you off and pick you up.
Agitation: Yep.
So, Angie has her job. Now all she needs is enough money to support her family and her boyfriend. She can't wait to start working!
And that's it! So, Agitation has a job. Now we just need to get Ciel and Silent Voice a job, too. That'll be for the future. I'll see you guys in the next story!
