[Hyejin's P.O.V]
My heart was beating as I kept refreshing the page. I was furious. "Why is it not loading? Oh my god!!" I was alone in my room with my laptop opened. I was not ready to see the results.
11AM.
The time has finally come. I held my breath and refreshed the page for the last time. C'mon man, load quicker! I was getting really impatient. Then.... the page loaded.
I was shocked. I squinted my eyes closer and stared at the screen. There, under the subject that I just took, a very glaring 'D+'. When I saw the results, I got so upset. I asked myself, Why am I so horrible at this subject? I'm a failure. My head was flooded with negativity and I felt like crying. Who could I go to for help? My mom? no. She will punish me for sure. My stepdad? Maybe, but I must not cross his boundaries if not I'll get beaten. My brother? My boyfriend?
I decided to just tell my mom about my results. So I opened the door to my room and went downstairs.
