PART 22
EXT. ATHENA'S TEMPLE - night
Zeus flies outside and gets in his chariot and flies away. AGATHE catches Adonis falling and they both make it out. ATHENA runs outside and kicks the ground when she sees Zeus flying away on his chariot back to Olympus. APOLLO (25) wears a white tunic with gold jewelry he is standing next to his chariot.
APOLLO
Need a lift?
ATHENA whips her head around.
ATHENA
APOLLO! What are you doing here?
APOLLO
Well, when Zeus told his mighty plan, it just didn't sit well with me. I have a gig next Tuesday, we need to get him off the throne by then.
ATHENA runs towards APOLLO's chariot.
ATHENA
Adonis! Stay and look after OSWALD.
OSWALD sits up and shakes his head.
OSWALD
I'm fine! I can go!
APOLLO
No, you can't, big guy. My chariot isn't made for that kind of weight.
ATHENA
It's okay, OSWALD. Thank you for your bravery. AGATHE, come with us.
AGATHE, ATHENA and APOLLO get on the chariot, which takes off with blazing speed.
APOLLO
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this genocide is absolutely insane.
ATHENA
It won't happen, APOLLO. We will stop it.
APOLLO
So, I know you probably think when you look at me that I am combat ready.
ATHENA
That wouldn't be the first thing that I would think of.
ATHENA towers over APOLLO.
APOLLO
Appreciate the honesty, so I hope you come to appreciate mine. I will not be fighting the king of the gods today. Think of me as morale support. I will leave the fighting to you and the spider thing back there.
AGATHE
Arachne.
APOLLO
Very fitting name.
They fly some more and soon they land in the torched Olympus. ATHENA and AGATHE step off onto the ground.
EXT. OLYMPUS- NIGHT
Olympus is a torched ghost town, all of the beautiful architecture that was once there, had mostly been burned to the ground. All of the chariots are lined up in a row.
APOLLO
If you need me, I will be in Athens. Good luck. Just whistle for me and I can make a quick getaway for you two.
APOLLO's chariot whips off the ground and goes down to Athens. Bright light cutting through the night sky.
The duo walks deeper into the terrifying labyrinth that Olympus is at the moment.
AGATHE
Do you have any idea where he could be at?
ATHENA
I think I have an idea.
