"haaah, being a wanderer can suck sometimes" you sigh to yourself as you wandered down the busy street.
You'd always been like this, wandering the streets, people giving you odd sideways glances as you passed, living in the streets.
You looked up at the sky, which was painted a sloppy grey as dark clouds began to drip water.

"Shit! Rain!" You said as you looked around for any shelter, and only finding one option:a small bridge walkway leading to what looked like a shrine.
You dashed under it quickly to avoid the cold rain.

"I hate rain. . ." You muttered aloud, curling into a ball.

"I hate it. . ."

Then you cried until you fell asleep. . .

~~~
You woke up surprisingly warm. Sitting up, you found out why.
"A blanket?" You questioned aloud, holding up the striped blue blanket, which looked like it belonged to a futon.
You looked around but didn't see anyone. Hugging the blanket tighter, you smiled. It felt good to know you weren't alone.
"You like Yayas gift?"
You jump at the voice and look up to see a greenish-blue haired girl in a blue hoodie and no pants, with a very catlike expression.
"Y-you brought me this?"
"Yeah. You looked cold" was her simple response.
"Thank you. . . With all that rain I probably would be really sick now, not that anyone would miss me. . ." You trailed off, leaning back into the wall a little too fast. You ended up falling and scratching your cheek on a nearby stick, causing a warm sensation as it began to bleed.
"OW!" you cried out, clamping your and to your cheek, until you felt a small soft hand push yours aside, followed by a small tongue lick your wound.
"What the-?!?" You leap back, blushing hard.
"Yaya was just trying to heal you" the girl replied nonchalantly.
"Oh, uh, sorry?" You reply, a bit confused.
Suddenly, she perked up.
"Yayas got to go. See you around" she said before wandering off, wandering like you did.
"I. . . I think I'll stay here a little longer. . ." You mutter, looking up at the darkening sky and curling up in the blanket the girl, who you assumed was Yaya, had given you.
~~~

You woke up to the sound of lots of loud footsteps. You climb out from under the bridge confused and look up, resulting in more confusion.

"Is that. . . An army of Monks?" You wondered aloud, looking at a battle between them and a bunch of girls.
You froze when you saw a family flash of blue.

"Yaya?"  You watched debating what to do.

"Don't get attached, I can't get attached, not after what happened" you told yourself, over and over, but it all changed when you saw a flash of metal from one of the monks hands.

A throwing knife.

You threw yourself into the path of the blade, knowing what you were doing full well.

"YAYA- AHK" You screamed her name, followed by a wet cough as blood dribbled out of your mouth.

You fell to your knees as you watched the shape of Yaya, not just a blue blob get bigger as she ran to you.

"Why did you do that??? You didn't even know Yaya until yesterday!" She questioned you frantically.

"I wanted to get involved" you grinned and sputtered, the monks all running off for some reason now.

You heard more people talking, but by that time the darkness had consumed you. . .
